Rhodes Chevrolet Company Van Buren
2002 Chrysler 2181
The SUV has needed very little repair work but any that was done quickly, correctly. I have bought two vehicles at this dealership and both have been a great experience. The salesman was very friendly and helpful. I wanted a specific car the first time, he search for one and even had a regional manager come in and search for one. I finally ended up ordering a car. He helped me through the process. I was out driving and when I pulled into a parking spot the man next to me said he worked for Rhodes Chevrolet and had noticed the sticker on my car and that I had a brake light out. He suggested I head over and get someone to change it for me, talk about going the extra mile!

Fort Smith, AR Driving Tips
I would want to tell them to avoid Rogers Avenue during lunch or around 5 pm. It gets extremely packed with bumper to bumper traffic. It makes you want to pull your hair out!
Fort Smith, AR Buying Tips
Fort Smith is a spread out city. I cannot be sure but I would say it is around 15-20 miles in diameter. A high-efficiency car is a must for commuting this city. Expect to pay through the nose for gas if you get a truck. When you do decide to buy a car, there is an Autopark Drive that has all the dealerships in one place and they don't seem to haggle on prices.
Favorite driving memory
One of my favorite times to drive in Fort Smith is early morning. I have college very early so I spend a lot of time driving in the mornings. It is always refreshing to drive at dawn, while the sun is just beginning to rise and traffic is dense but moving fine. I enjoy listening to early morning talk shows. Driving in the morning, in my opinion, is extremely relaxing.
Favorite road
Wheeler Avenue. I have family out West and the only way to get on the interstate from my house is to take Wheeler Avenue. It is an "industrial park" with old factories which makes for very interesting scenery. I have had to drive on this street for many years while on our way to see family on holidays. It also has very few stop lights which makes it an even more pleasant drive.

Fort Smith, AR Driving Tips
One tip for someone driving in Fort Smith? Stay off Rogers. Its the very worse road and the most congested of all of them in the city
Fort Smith, AR Buying Tips
I'm not real sure about buying cars in Fort Smith. I know there are a lot of buy here/pay here lots which I would tend to avoid and I'm not totally sure about other places to get one. But if you do buy one for driving in the city just make sure it has good gas mileage.
Favorite driving memory
Not sure if any are favorite story's of driving in Fort Smith. Some of the roads are okay to drive on but the main roads are very hectic and busy and most people, if they are smart, try to find alternate routes to get places. In all honesty I don't live in Fort Smith but its the closest city to me. I live in Huntington which is very rural and I enjoy country driving for the fresh air and breezes and the sights.
Favorite road
Cross Chapel Road. Its a little bit curved in places but that adds to the charm of this one. Its a country road with country sights and smells and I just enjoy driving it.
