This vehicle is everything that I have ever needed or wanted. I have put it through the worst terrain, and it still runs and looks like a champ. I am an avid hunter, so it was important to me that the truck be able to handle mountain terrain. I have only had to make one major repair to the vehicle, and it was super easy to fix. The computer went out, so it would not start properly. The cost was reasonable; I've had no problems since.
Story
On New Years night, I slid off the road because of my own error. This vehicle was stuck in three feet of snow off of the the side of the road. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to get out. I dropped it into fourth gear low and this thing ripped out of there like it was nothing. I had never been so impressed in my entire life.
Pros
The vehicle is black and is a crew cab. I didn't want to get a four door as I had no use for it. The interior is gorgeous, and the center console folds up if needed. The pickup is very strong as well, and I have hauled many trailers and campers with it.
Cons
The cons of this vehicle were very, very minor. The first thing that I did once I got the vehicle was replace the radio. It did not have a spot for an auxiliary cord and I like to listen to my own music. Another con was the stripping on the doors was starting to come off, so I took weather stripping and sealed it back up. I have had no problems with that since. This is not so much for the vehicle, but it is black. Black is notorious for showing scratches, and I have taken it through some pretty rough areas. I have no major cons with this vehicle overall.

My GMC 4 Door pickup is the first pickup I have ever owned, Before the pickup I've always been a car girl! It took me a long time to figure out how to judge my distance and park in the truck, but it is sooo worth it! Everyone brags on my truck when they see it they talk ablout how nice it is inside and out! I Love the build of this model; some of the other years they were less square looking and this look really is the best! Not only does it look great on the outside, it has leather heated seats, memory seats, satellite radio, and much more including a internet hotspot! It comes in really handy for me since I own my own online business I can just carry my job with me wherever I go! The seats are very comfortable and the back seat has more then enough room for my grown children to have ... (more)
Story
when we watched the parade at Christmas from the tailgate.
Pros

Cons
doesn't have windshield wiper sensors doesn't have back up camera sensors big and hard to figure out how to park no heated side mirrors

I used to drive a Toyota and tried to take it off road. I would often get laughed at and mocked by my friends, but when I finally got my new GMC it was life changing. You could immediately feel the difference in the drive, the power, and going over hills was a breeze. I will never look back. The gas is a bit expensive as the truck just burns it up, but that is kind of expected.
Story
We were out in some random mounds of dirt jumping and just off roading, my truck hit a corner of a hill and started to lean in mid air, I thought for sure it would flip but it landed on the right wheels and fell back down luckily.
Pros
The drive overall is fantastic. The stock paint job looks flawless and glistens in the sun. Smooth ride uphill, you honestly feel no difference at all. You cannot beat the price, it is relatively cheap compared to other trucks out there that are honestly nowhere near as good as the GMC.
Cons
Gas gets eaten up like crazy. A bit high off the ground. Obviously you can change that, but it costs quite a bit to do. The cupholders I got were a bit small and it is kind of an annoyance more than a con.
