This vehicle is everything that I have ever needed or wanted. I have put it through the worst terrain, and it still runs and looks like a champ. I am an avid hunter, so it was important to me that the truck be able to handle mountain terrain. I have only had to make one major repair to the vehicle, and it was super easy to fix. The computer went out, so it would not start properly. The cost was reasonable; I've had no problems since.
Story
On New Years night, I slid off the road because of my own error. This vehicle was stuck in three feet of snow off of the the side of the road. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to get out. I dropped it into fourth gear low and this thing ripped out of there like it was nothing. I had never been so impressed in my entire life.
Pros
The vehicle is black and is a crew cab. I didn't want to get a four door as I had no use for it. The interior is gorgeous, and the center console folds up if needed. The pickup is very strong as well, and I have hauled many trailers and campers with it.
Cons
The cons of this vehicle were very, very minor. The first thing that I did once I got the vehicle was replace the radio. It did not have a spot for an auxiliary cord and I like to listen to my own music. Another con was the stripping on the doors was starting to come off, so I took weather stripping and sealed it back up. I have had no problems with that since. This is not so much for the vehicle, but it is black. Black is notorious for showing scratches, and I have taken it through some pretty rough areas. I have no major cons with this vehicle overall.

My GMC 4 Door pickup is the first pickup I have ever owned, Before the pickup I've always been a car girl! It took me a long time to figure out how to judge my distance and park in the truck, but it is sooo worth it! Everyone brags on my truck when they see it they talk ablout how nice it is inside and out! I Love the build of this model; some of the other years they were less square looking and this look really is the best! Not only does it look great on the outside, it has leather heated seats, memory seats, satellite radio, and much more including a internet hotspot! It comes in really handy for me since I own my own online business I can just carry my job with me wherever I go! The seats are very comfortable and the back seat has more then enough room for my grown children to have ... (more)

This is a great truck! Extremely comfortable and very reliable. I love owning a full-size truck, especially having the luxury of having an eight foot bed. Part of me wishes it did have an extended cab, so we could all fit in it, but then the vehicle would be just a tad long. The truck is very dependable and versatile. I would absolutely buy it again.
Story
It is hard to just pick one memorable moment, but if I had to, it would be when I was taking the dog to the vet with my youngest son. We always get thumbs ups and compliments whenever we drive it because it is in really good condition, but it was such nice weather and just the perfect day. It was so enjoyable to just cruise around with my son and the dog, both of which absolutely love taking a... (more)
Pros
Top options for me was having everything power as far as the windows and door locks go. Also, having air conditioning and cruise control is always a plus. The fact that it will run on regular gas is a great feature, and it's not actually that terrible on gas.
Cons
I can't say that there are too many negative things about this truck. As previously stated, I did wish there was more seating, just for convenience. I'm not going to complain about technological capabilities, as it is a 1985, so that is really not possible.
