I like my vehicle for many reasons. First, it is a Denali, so the woodgrain detail inside the car gives it more of a luxury feel. And it is black, which adds to the luxury. The moon roof is great for warm days. The leather seats have been great in that my car never looks dirty, even though my son has spilled liquids on the seats. There is a lot of room in the trunk area for groceries, folding chairs, or whatever I need to transport. I bought the truck used, but have never had any problems with it. One thing I don't like about it is that you cannot hook up a phone or mp3 player to listen to music that way. It only has a CD player. Also, the back seats fold down so that you can transport larger items, such as a bike or furniture. Only problem with this feature is that the se... (more)
Story
A memorable story while using this vehicle would have to be when my son was 15, on a driver's permit, and got into his first car accident. Thankfully, the car did not hit the driver's side door, but it did hit the front. My son was shaken up, and kept apologizing, but I was just happy we were both safe. Insurance paid for it to be fixed up as good as new. But, this has made it hard to feel... (more)
Pros
The top positive things are the moon roof, leather seats, heated seats for cold winters, large trunk area, the look of the outside, the woodgrain detailing inside, the rims aren't cheap-looking, it fits 5 people comfortably, it drives well, it has built-in NAV, and also has OnStar and XM radio hookup, if you want it. The cruise control, ABS brakes and 4-wheel drive are great for those snowy days.
Cons
The seats in the back do not fold down all the way, so it is hard to fit 2 bicycles in the back. It doesn't have a hookup for an mp3 or smartphone in order to listen to a playlist.

I bought this Envoy a couple years back, and I could not be any happier. First off, I have put over 50,000 miles on it and have yet to have to change any parts or do any repairs other than general maintenance. This vehicle drives like a Cadillac yet it has an exceptional four-wheel drive system comparable to any Jeep or Land Rover. I live in the country, and I get lots of snow every winter. Last year my neighbor got his 2,500 heavy duty truck stuck, and the other neighbor was trying to pull him out with his 4x4 1500 GMC truck. They both just spun with no progress at all. I hooked my Envoy up to it, and I spun a little bit then pulled the truck out no problem. I really put this thing to the test every day, and it never fails me. I have the loaded edition, and everything is electric so I... (more)
Story
I pulled my neighbor out of a ditch in the snow and ice one morning when two different big trucks could not do it. They all laughed at me, but they were not laughing when the old Envoy brought that truck up out of there.
Pros
The best things about this vehicle would be the extremely good four-wheel drive and the massive amount of room inside of the vehicle. It has heated seats, defrosting mirrors, everything is power and it drives smooth and easy like a car.
Cons
The only negatives I can think of would be that it has two really bad blind spots. One looking over your shoulder and one looking forward to the right because of a really large rear view mirror.

I purchased my Envoy from a private owner about 4 years ago. I was hesitant at first because I have never owned a larger vehicle. I fell in love with it right off the bat. The way it handled was smooth, the power it has to merge and pull things was something I never even thought about before I experienced this car. This car is so comfortable and roomy. My seat adjusts perfectly to how I like it. I also feel safe in this car. It sits up higher than I'm used to and the running boards make it super easy for me to climb in. I'm 5'1" so the running boards are a real "back saver". I also love the overall look of the Envoy. Mine has chrome accents down the side. The functionality of the dashboard is great, too.
Story
My daughter wanted a kayak for her birthday. I had been shopping around when I notice one on sale at a local store. I decided to purchase it on the spot and then had to figure out how to take it home. I explained to the store clerk that i was going to try and put the kayak in the car instead of on the roof rack. There is a five mile long bridge between this store and my destination. Well,... (more)
Pros
The most positive things about this vehicle are the way it handles and how quickly I can switch between 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. Another great thing is the cost of maintenance is very low. The parts are easier to acquire and are not premium price. My Bose system is great! Love the sound.
Cons
The lift door in the back is very heavy.
