Comfortable and powerful
The GMC Envoy XL with the Denali package is a comfortable SUV with lots of power from the 5.3 V8 engine. With the long wheelbase and air adjustable rear suspension, it actually rides really smooth around town and out on the highway. The overall quality is lacking just a bit for such a high trim-level vehicle. Small engine noises, creaking interior plastics, and a persistent rear HVAC problem are most notable.

My favorite car so far.
I've been driving this car for nearly 10 years and I have had very few repairs come up. The car is roomy and has a luxurious feel to it, with the all leather seats and the wood trim on the dash. After 135,000 miles, the car still drives like it is brand new. The best thing about having enough seating for 7 is that I always have room for my flea market finds. Both the second row and the third row seats fold all the way down. The only thing I don't like about it is the mpg rating is not great. And replacing the tires is expensive because they are so large.
