We bought this vehicle in January 2005 and, overall, this vehicle has been very dependable and reliable. It has over 220K on it, so we cannot take it on long trips anymore, but it is good for using locally. This has car has not given us a lot of trouble, but we have serviced it when we are supposed to, which I feel will make the car last longer when you take care of it. This car has gotten great gas mileage and is a smooth-riding SUV. It has plenty of leg room in all three rows and even with three row up, it still had ample storage.
Story
This vehicle holds a lot of memories for me and my family. We have had it for 12 years, so it is hard to pick just one story. This car has traveled all the way up to New Hampshire to South Carolina. We have moved taking this car on our annual trips to Myrtle Beach for our vacation.
Pros
Great gas mileage. Has seven seats, which comes in handy for large families. Our model has 4WD, which we have used and needed every winter since we have owned this vehicle. Our model has a Bose sound system, which made the radio sound very clear. Very sound car. I was in two accidents where it was the other drivers' fault and had hit me. The other drivers' cars were totaled, but my car had some damage, but it still a sound vehicle to drive once it was repaired.
Cons
The gauges stopped working and I found out this was an issue for this model but not enough to warrant a recall, so it had to repaired out of pocket. The sunroof has leaked before so it had to be cleaned, but after that, it was fine. Because it has a 28 gallon tank, it does cost a lot to fill up the tank.
