My 2010 Honda Insight has been one of the best cars I've ever owned. I have not had a single issue with the car since it was purchased new.
Story
When driving three hours a day round trip for my job I went to for two tanks of gas a week instead of four.
Pros
The car gets good gas mileage and has never given me any trouble. There's an Eco boost option to provide even more gas savings.
Cons
It's not the most comfortable road trip car and it's not very "zippy" for in-town traffic.

The 2010 Honda Insight has been a really fantastic vehicle for me. Though I don't normally like hybrid cars and have previously enjoyed getting around on a motorcycle, I've sincerely enjoyed this one. The car's defining feature is that it's very fuel efficient; I've even managed to get over 50 MPG when I'm really trying to drive in a careful way. The build quality of the car is generally very good, though there are quite a few plastic elements. It has adequate power for my day-to-day life, and it accelerates pretty well from a dead stop, though there's definitely a lack of "get up and go," but that's to be expected with a hybrid vehicle. It's got a lot of storage space available for a car of this size, allowing me to cart around quite a few possessions. Finally, I've loved how reliable... (more)
Story
Probably my favorite experience with this car was when I was driving off road near my city. My girlfriend and I were looking for a trailhead to begin a week-long hike and had no choice but to drive about 20 miles on a very poor unpaved road to find it. The looks that we got from other people (who were all driving pickup trucks and the like) as we drove around in this little 2WD hybrid were pri... (more)
Pros
My favorite feature is definitely the great fuel economy. This is a very inexpensive car to drive because of the hybrid engine. Also, I love how much storage space there is in the car. I am constantly surprised at how much stuff I can cram into it when I fold the seats down.
Cons
On the negative side, I would say that there is a definite lack of power in the vehicle. It's very difficult to pass other cars with any degree of ease and steep hills can often be a challenge for this car's small hybrid engine. Also, the interior of the car feels a bit cheap and plasticky.
