2004 Honda S2000 - I love this car
Not only is it beautiful looking. It drives like a dream and handles corners like no other. The car is built with the driver in mind. From the moment you get in, the car is angled for the comfort of the driver. The convertible is perfect for the So-Cal lifestyle. The car is extremely responsive, and you feel like you are one with the car. My only qualm (which is very minor) is that the cup holders suck. Maybe it is designed for Japanese people who don't have American-sized cups, but the cup holders do nothing. It cannot hold any drink, any size. So unless it's a bottled drink, I would not use the cup holders. Small drinks will spill, and big drinks don't fit. Definitely not for American super-sized cups. Also, there is no button to automatically lock all doors. You have to lock the doo... (more)
Story
Anywhere I go, I park really far away to avoid getting dinged. My friends always whine and complain about the walk, and I'll tell them they need the exercise anyways.
Pros
RWD. Comfort. Fast acceleration. Responsive. Beautiful. Newer headlights. Fastest convertible mechanism. Leather. Comfortable shift knobs.
Cons
cup holders are terrible
no auto-lock/open door buttons
2004 Honda S2000 -
This is a great little sports car with convertible top for all your summer SoCal needs. It handles very well with 50/50 weight distribution and RWD. I can take corners like no other. My car currently has 130k miles on it and still running strong. The car has black leather interior that still feels nice and soft. The CD player in the stereo, however, has not been working for years with a CD stuck in it. I have upgraded the stereo to Bluetooth for the modern age. I have not had any major issues that wasn't due to normal wear and tear. You don't find cars like these anymore.
Story
Some little punk kid in his civic was tailgating me really badly on the freeway. I knew a sharp turn was coming up so I took the turn with all my RWD glory and lost the little sucker so fast. I'm sure he was embarrassed because he stayed far behind me after that.
Pros
Convertible top for summer cruising down PCH.
RWD and 50/50 weight distribution
Looks amazing
Because it's a popular car, an array of modifications and upgrades are available from 3rd party vendors
It's featured in the Fast and Furious movies
Fast and light
Cons
Stereo broke
No auto lock doors
No traction control
Limited space
Holes in soft top are bound to happen over time
Cup holders are terrible
Pretty bad on gas
