2018 Jeep Cherokee - Dependable, sporty, four-wheel drive

I have always been a truck owner, but I wanted to find something that had the ruggedness of a pickup, without the size. The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk fit the bill. It sits on a raised chassis, with durable wheels and rims. It has three driving options: standard, four-wheel drive, and sporty, all of which can be manually adjusted based on the terrain. I miss sitting higher (because I am a short person), but other than that, it is a great fit for me.
Story
When I was first becoming familiar with the vehicle, I changed it to the "sport" option and hit the gas. I was not expecting it to be so responsive and almost ran over my own mailbox before I was able to hit the brakes!
Pros
What I like most about the Trailhawk is how comfortably it rides. I travel a lot for work and play, and I really look forward to long road trips because of the smoothness of the ride. The extras also make the car a favorite: the navigation system, the Bose stereo with sub-woofers, the additional safety features, and the ability to change the driving from automatic to standard is appealing.
Cons
There are not a lot of negatives, but there are a couple I can think of: it sits lower than I like, and the gas tank is really small compared to what I am used to. I wish it had a bigger tank so I could drive further on one tank of gas.

I've had the Jeep Cherokee for just over a year. It is very comfortable with lumbar and seat adjustments. I frequently drive 200+ miles for work, and it rides great on the open road. It also does well in inclement weather. The only thing I don't like about the vehicle is with the uConnect radio, you do not have an option to voice-to-text unless you pay the uConnect annual subscription.
Story
I don't have any fun stories with it yet. It has been a great vehicle to drive to and from work, as well as the long trips to my company's other offices.
Pros
I love the variety of options you can customize your vehicle with. I use the remote start, heated seats and heated steering wheel all the time! I love the dual climate controls as I am always colder than everyone else. I love the double-pane moon roof.
Cons
I don't like that you have to pay a $149 annual uConnect subscription to be able to send voice texts. I feel this should be a standard option with new vehicles. I chose the V4 model and do notice it's a bit sluggish.
