I love driving along the interstate and seeing all the businesses. Growing up my parents were divorced, and on the way to my mom's house my father would play the "alphabet" game where we had to find all the letters of the alphabet in the signs that we saw while driving back.

I-80 is my favorite road to drive. It will take you anywhere in the city or get you to anyplace you need.

You don't need a car if you're willing to work the bus schedule, but everything is far enough apart that having a car will make life a lot easier. That said, you don't need much more than a grocery getter.
