Indifferent.
The lease for my BMW 5 series was ending and due to the recent birth of my daughter my next car needed to be a SUV. I looked at the BMW X5, Jaguar F-Pace, and MB GLC. Price point was the main factor in my decision making process - X5 was over my budget, F-Pace was within budget, but was concerned about Jaguar's track record. I ultimately moved forward with the MB because I had not much interest in looking at other cars, and the dealer got me the pricing I was looking for. Performance was standard during the test drive, and I wasn't really looking for any crazy bells and whistles.

Brake issue.
The car is very sturdy and dependable. We generally use it for driving the kids around and we feel very safe in it. The fuel economy is about as expected for an SUV. We have only put about 15,000 miles on it so far. I like the looks of it, both outside and inside and it has held up well in the back to the abuse that two young children can dish out. There is ample space in the back and we have used it for two years now to make a long drive to a vacation in the Outer Banks. It fits 5 people and all of our luggage very comfortably. Now the bad part.. For some reason the brakes have an extremely loud squeal to them for the first minute that you drive in the colder temperatures. Once it warms up and you have been driving a minute or two, it is fine and there are no issues in the warmer months. But when pulling out of the driveway in a crisp and cold February morning, we are embarrassed at how loud the squeal is. It makes us feel like people think we don't take care of our cars. At the first year maintenance, we were advised that it was a known manufacturer's defect with no solution at this time. And at the second one we just had, they changed out the break pads, etc. in hopes that would help, but I heard a squeal on the first semi-cold day that we had. This is very disappointing and has ruined all of the many good things about the car.
