2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK - Fun to drive

It is a great looking car and I have received a lot of compliments on it. It sits really low to the ground, so when I go over speed bumps it bottoms out. Curbs are also too high so I can't pull up too close to them. The front bumper has cracked several times and it is very expensive to get fixed. Maintenance is very expensive for the car.
Story
It was fun to drive it with the top down by the Mississippi river.
Pros
It is fun to drive the car. I love the heated seats and neck heaters. It is a beautiful car. The retractable roof operates quickly, so quickly that I can put it up or down while at a stop light. I love the leather seats. The trunk fits a full-size suitcase, which is nice if you take it on vacation. It is a very smooth drive. You can fit a pair of skis in the passenger seat if you position them just right.
Cons
The cost of parts is very expensive because it is a foreign car. I cringe every time I go over a bump because I'm afraid I'll scrape the bottom of the car. Tires are very expensive. It requires premium gas, which is more expensive.

2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK - Chick car - but bring a small purse

What teen wouldn't want this car. Hard top retractable roof, gorgeous sexy lines, big tires, and a roaring powerful V6 that can push you back in your seat and twist through corners like the car is glued to the road. Chick magnet car - except that this car really is designed for chicks. It is small! I am 5'7', maybe 5'8" on a good day and my head is nearly brushing the headliner. The trunk is ridiculously small, especially with the top down, and he only place for a purse is in the passenger seat or floor (behind the seat requires too many yoga like moves to retrieve a purse)
Story
We have 3 other vehicles for the 2 of us - and this car, while fun to drive -especially on a glorious summer day - has sadly spent most of it's life sitting in the garage - looking fantastic and rearing to go, but alas lacking space for her, the dog, and me.
Pros
Gorgeous and sexy lines, coolness factor of the retractable hard top roof, powerful V6 that propels this car like a rocket, the gut feel of raw sportiness of this car - it is a really, really fun to drive car. Handles fantastically, fast fast fast and just. plain. fun. You want to be noticed in this car, although 9 of 10 drivers (Seem to be) women. And this is really my wife's car except when there is a need to get a gallon of milk from the grocery store 3 miles away in 2 minutes or less !. It's hard not to mash the pedal to the floor and feel the adrenaline flow.
Cons
Trunk fits my wife's purse and that is about it (when the top is down). This is a 2 seater, and not a practical car - especially when there is a choice between bringing me or the dog on a trip to Dairy Queen. Interior materials are not what I expected out of a Mercedes - cheap plasticky feel.
