2004 Mercury Monterey - Older car, but still good.
My 2004 Mercury Monterey is one of the best vehicles that I have ever owned. I purchased the vehicle in 2016 with just over 100K miles on it. The van has performed exceptionally well, with no mechanical or electrical problems. The standard V8 engine is powerful, but without being too powerful as to cause concern or problems while driving.
Story
Driving around in the backroads of Tennessee with my grandmother. She lived in a small city, and we would have to drive at least an hour to get into the major surrounding cities. The car always felt comfortable and 'like home' to me.
Pros
This is a solidly built vehicle, with a comfortable driving position and powerful standard V8 engine.
Cons
The only con to this vehicle is its age, which shows in the technology in the vehicle. It does not have the latest and greatest technology.
