My Mercury Milan is the first car I have ever purchased. I have driven a lot of different cars in my life at least 15 different vehicles. I have driven a Cadillac CTS 2009, 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, 2003 Lexus GS 300, 2004 Ford Crown Victoria LX, and many more. None of these vehicles compare to the Milan in my opinion. The first feature about the car that is so great is the dashboard. In the middle of the dashboard their is a fairly large storage compartment. It blends in nice with the dashboard which is fairly hard in most cars. This compartment is great for storage and is very nice feature. Another amazing feature is on the ceiling of the car. Right above you is a sunglass storage compartment. All you have to do is click and out pops your sunglasses. It is so discreet when first enterin... (more)
Story
I had just gotten the car and I took a trip to New Jersey to fill up the gas tank. New Jersey has very cheap gasoline price so I was expecting to pay $50 to fill up my tank. I arrived at the gas station and started filling my car up. At around the 30 dollar mark the gas pump clicked meaning that the car was completely full. I was so happy I saved 20 dollars. The week before I had filled up my ... (more)
Pros
This vehicle is so easy to wash. Other vehicles have so many little crevices that are hard to clean. The Mercury Milan is so easy to wash it only takes me 30 minutes to finish. The best feature on the car is the dashboard its so unique and attractive.
Cons
Nothing negative besides one little improvement. The fuel economy could be slightly better, but even with that the car is cheaper than most to fill up.

The car gets good gas mileage (24MPG). It seats 5 people. Comfortably. It is very sporty looking for a 4 door car with the spoiler on back.
Story
I was driving down the interstate and the passenger side mirror fell off slapping the side of my car at 75MPH. Scared me to death, but the electrical wire to the heated mirror was holding it from flying off and hitting another car. I stopped at the nearest hardware store bought a role of duck tape and that thing is still attached to this day (over a year).
Pros
I have had no major mechanical issues. The seating and leg room is very adequate. Plenty of extra storage for a car.
Cons
The lighted displays have stopped working in the clock and radio. So at night you can't see the time, and day or night you can't see what radio station your on. The car isn't wide enough on the inside to support 2 car seats and a child in the middle comfortably.

I like the space and the feel of my Milan. It feels like a luxury car. Additionally, the features of the car are so nice, for example, multiple ports for charging devices. I also like how big the trunk and back seats are. I like the fact that there's a dash setting that tells me how many miles I have left before I run out, and how many I average per gallon.
Story
When we went to the beach, we were able to take everything for our daughter, including her and ourselves, and the dog. It was a lot of fun!
Pros
The features I love are the accommodation of size. As a mother of a small child, you have to take a lot of things with you, including the baby, her walker, diaper bag, and even the pack and play at times. Not only can all that fit into the back seat, but there's enough space in the trunk to accommodate any of our luggage on these trips. I like that the vehicle has many modern features like a CD player, different ports for devices, plenty of storage space and many modern conveniences.
Cons
I don't like that it looks similar to the Ford Fusion; I often get it confused in the parking lot. I don't like that the parts for repair seem very expensive. I also do not like that there isn't a sun roof. I also do not like that the doors automatically lock after several minutes in the car.
