Used Mercury Mariner for Sale

The car is very spacious. There is a lot of room in the back for storage which is great for shopping trips and vacations. The seats in the back fold down which allows enough room in the back for a person to lay down. I have slept in the back of this car during many camping trips and always have plenty of room. The look and style of this car is very pleasing to the eye. The moon roof and 6 disc CD changer brings extra enjoyment. I feel very safe in this car. I have driven it across the country twice and have never had any problems. With it's automatic 4-wheel drive it handles great in the snow. It accelerates quickly and breaks quickly. I recently had to get the alternator replaced and found out that where the alternator is in the car requires a lot of labor to get it changed. It is also not very good with gas mileage but that is to be expected with most SUVs.

I did like that there were heated seats, which really helps out in the winter. Other pros include the height of the truck. It has a lot of room for a midsize suv. I did not like the way the dash is spread out with the stereo and such, it just doesn't flow. Another con is that it is not a quiet ride, even when all the windows are shut, very hard to relax, not the best long travel vehicle. The quality of the suv overall is great, it has not given me much trouble at all over the years. It is great in the snow, because it is one of the only suv's that has front wheel drive.

I am in love with this vehicle. I was looking for an SUV that was younger and hipper than the typical soccer mom van. This Mariner is all of that and priced amazingly well! Larger vehicle with excessive amounts of space for all of the mom gear that I need to haul around.
