After someone stole our car, we got this one pretty quickly. We were expecting our third baby, and we needed the extra space. It worked out perfectly because of the third-row seating. The extra space lets the kids stretch out, so long drives are drama free. We went searching to buy the car one day and bought it the next since we were without a car.
Story
Driving my niece and nephew to campus for the first time was a really fun and tear-filled road trip. We filled the car up with junk food and sang TV sitcom theme songs all the way there. We almost ran out of gas once but she (yeah I call my baby she) kept on rolling until we found one.
Pros
The five-CD changer radio is amazing on long drives. It makes it safe and easy to change music without losing focus on the road. The sunroof is by far my favorite, because it is automatic and I can let it down without looking away. We like to open it in the spring time, because it's not too cool or too hot, and the fresh air is relaxing. The third-row seating either gives us an extra row to fit more people or a huge amount of truck space. We've already driven two college kids back to school. We helped our nephew move into his grad school apartment in a different state without using a movin... (more)
Cons
The check engine light is always on. Even if we get everything done on it, after a few miles, the check engine light is back on again. There might be nothing wrong with the car, but the light still pops on. Once I got the oil changed and a complete work up, the light went off. I drove from a suburb of Chicago to the city and back. When I got back home, the light was back on again.

I enjoyed the vehicle from the day I got it to the day I traded it in. The vehicle was always reliable and got me from place to place, sure it had its problems, a few repairs here and a few cosmetics there. But it was a great vehicle that never did me wrong. I was able to commute to Las Vegas and back around through California, that vehicle went with me everywhere. When the car reached its 14th birthday, there were things that started to go wrong however. The driver side sun visor fell from its perch and needed to be completely removed, the electronic heated seats would no longer respond to the push of the button. But the car ran and I got back and forth.
Story
This vehicle was so reliable that I made a long-distance surprise trip at 3 am to my long-distance relationship. I had no worries about making it there safely, so I had no worries about going on such a late night adventure. That turned out to be an amazing coincidence! That same night, a family member was in trouble, and I was able to be there after the six-hour drive with what seemed to my gi... (more)
Pros
The vehicles mechanics were very reliable. I never had a worry going from place to place in that vehicle. I knew I would arrive safely and securely. I was able to hold so much in that vehicle; it was a transport! During my time in the recreational sport of airsofting, on multiple occasions I would transport up to five people and all of our equipment. It was an amazing vehicle capable of great capacity.
Cons
The gas mileage of this vehicle left a lot to be desired, barely breaching 11 MPG, this vehicle was a drain on the wallet. While it was good for going back and forth to work, driving it repeatedly on the open road added up fairly quickly.
