I bought the vehicle before I had children when my wife and I did flea markets. Its back seat folds down for ample storage space, which is needed for the markets we did. The front seats are large and comfortable, enough for any size person to sit comfortably.
Story
The back hatch comes down and can hold up to 400 pounds. It also has drink holders and a nice place to put a cushion. It clearly was made for tail gating. My wife and I went to the lake shore to watch a 4th of July show, and instead of crowding in on the beach like everyone else, we just tail gated with two other friends. We could lay back in our vehicle and watch the fireworks.
Pros
Spacious, sit up off the road more, quiet, and large trunk space. Rear-facing, heat/cool vents for the back seat with option to turn them off. All power options in the car is standard. V6 is good enough for the car (even fully loaded) to get you where you want to go, without worrying about towing power.
Cons
The engine is super tightly put together, which makes working on it yourself very difficult. The muffler system seems to be shoddy, making it a constant work in progress unless you shell out the money right away to completely redo it (even in "new" condition). The height of this vehicle makes it terrible to drive in high winds as you constantly feel your vehicle veer off the road.

I have had this car for about ten years. I love all of the room that the car has. I love the fact that the back seats fold up for more cargo space. This car is a trooper. I have loaded meals for an entire school in the back. The fact that it is a crossover vehicle gives me the comfort of a car and the functionality of a SUV. The engine runs great and have only had to have upkeep maintenance on the car. This car was first advertised for the out doors type person. There are tons of cubbies, hooks and places to "plug in" throughout the vehicle. There is a cooler between the two front seats and plenty of spaces for cups and toys and all of the things a family brings with them on long trips. The car also has a very distinct look about it. This means you can go to the store or a night out an... (more)
Story
We took a family trip: me, my hubby, our son, a niece and nephew, a dog, and a cat! Still lots of room for everyone to be comfy.
Pros
The size is just right. Easy to handle and drive. Lots of room for yard sales!
Cons
Low gas mileage.
