When I bought this car I was skeptical, but it was the only one available for the amount I had to spend that didn't seem to be falling apart. I had it looked over by the mechanic who said it was very solid, but I was still apprehensive. Six months and thousands of miles later I am sold on this model. The only things I don't like about this car are a few features of the interior design. Overall, I love most of that as well. Now I feel secure when hopping in it for a road trip or a necessary drive on snow packed roads. This car performs. It feels like a luxury car ride but, as the driver, it feels like a sports car drive. The best of both worlds.
Story
Shortly after getting this car, I had a call to transport a customer to the Denver airport. While there, my kids and I braved going up and into the mountains after dropping my customer off. It was a rather risky move considering I didn't know the car that well, but we took advantage of our location. We had a blast that day weaving in and out of the Eastern side of the Rockies, working our way... (more)
Pros
It handles famously! The steering is very responsive and gives the driver a very secure feeling in all types of road conditions. The balance between fuel economy and power can't be beat. MPG averages between 26 and 32 depending on driving style and conditions. The power is more than what you need, if you are one to drive legal speed limits. Personally I've topped it out at 125 MPH, and the car acted as if that was nothing for me to ask it to do. It has an immensely comfortable ride in front and back. The trunk is surprisingly huge. Over 300k on this car and the engine and tranny are perfo... (more)
Cons
Honestly the worst feature on this car is a little one...the middle console. The cup holders are so closely placed that unless the two beverages to be stowed are eight ounce cups of coffee, one has to left out. The position of the middle storage container is awkwardly positioned, not easy access. It doesn't lock, and it is very small. Likewise the glove compartment is nearly useless. It is positioned out of reasonable range for the driver to access and when opened everything falls out as there is no inner slant to the box. Another feature that seems ridiculous is the fact that the battery ... (more)

My car, the 2002 Pontiac Bonneville, still looks pretty stylish for being 16 years old. It has a metallic gold exterior paint job, which has held up surprisingly well over the years. There is minimal rust around the gas tank area, which happens to be very common for that model (for whatever reason). The interior is leather with heated seats and is very roomy. Music sounds great on the speakers, which have a lot of bass to them, if that's what you're into. The usual driver-side blind spots are small compared to other cars I've driven. It handles turns a bit wide because it is kind of a big car, actually. However, it has very nice wide tires that grip the road nicely and help with tight turns. It's had its fair share of issues over the years, though. At one point, water got under the sea... (more)
Story
I used this car to drive from Ohio to Nashville, TN. Myself and two other friends had a great time taking turns driving and seeing the sights along the way.
Pros
Nice paint job, cost-effective on gas, stylish look, really slick rims and tires (standard), good engine with a lot of pickup, great sound system, handles very well in any weather, small blind spots compared to other cars I've driven, and not too expensive to maintain.
Cons
A few of the instruments/components broke on me (like the A/C and the gas gauge). The tires are very expensive (200+ a piece). It is prone to rust in some areas. It's just old enough to not have a way to use an MP3 player or anything like that. The windshield wiper sprayer was broken.
