This car is a pretty good little car. It's held up well even at almost 200K miles. It is easy to find parts for and relatively easy to fix, not to mention most parts are pretty cheap. It has a CD player and good quality factory speakers, power windows and locks, and a built-in alarm. I do not like how the buttons for the windows are in the armrest area. This causes dirt and gunk to build up under the buttons and can cause malfunctioning in the power windows. I also don't like that the AC doesn't work...ACs should be built to last better in cars in general though. I like that it is easy to change the oil, and most parts are easily accessible under the hood. The design was not well thought out when it came to wiring though. Along with the wiring problems that can be caused with the power... (more)
Story
Within a week of purchasing this car from an individual, it needed a new water pump. I was pregnant and past due. I had to have the car working to be able to get to the hospital to have the baby. My husband and I were outside in the dark in the cold at about 10 pm replacing the water pump and seal. I was replacing the serpentine belt with a very pregnant belly! We got it fixed, and I went into... (more)
Pros
Lots of room inside. Factory CD player. Easy to change oil, cheap parts, easy to find parts, good sized trunk.
Cons
Headlight wiring problems. AC wiring problems. Power window and power lock wiring problems.

I bought this car used for a decent price. I really like the size and shape. It's such a cute car and fairly reliable. Mine had been repainted at some point into a bright gold, which is very eye-catching.
Story
This is my first car that has had a sunroof. I thought it was really neat that you could keep the sunroof cracked while driving in the rain because the force of air plus speed and window shape keeps the breeze coming, but the rain out. It's great on long country roads...I just didn't anticipate what would happen when I finally had to stop at a traffic light. I got drenched and let out a little... (more)
Pros
I like that the size of the car; it makes it easy to maneuver. It also has very good gas mileage. It's nice for short trips alone, because it feels less wasteful than a big car. I love the sunroof; it's so nice for letting a breeze in.
Cons
I'm used to carpooling for grocery trips because I used to have a van. That's really difficult in this car, because it's just so small. I've had to figure out creative placements for large grocery trips. I've also found the seatbelts to be abnormally short in this car. Lastly, finding high quality used replacement tires for this car has been a giant pain. Apparently, they are an unusual, infrequently stocked size.
