This vehicle is compact, affordable and reliable. Its interior is functional, albeit standard, with no bells and whistles. The inside is also a bit cramped and not meant for taller folks. This car won't hurt your fuel budget, in fact, it will probably save you a few dollars. It's considered to be safe and would likely work well for a family just starting out. The vehicle performs well for its class. Overall, this vehicle is a great starter car or could be used for short commutes.
Story
My husband and I carted around our closest friends, another couple, for a night on the town.
Pros
I found this vehicle to be affordable and fuel efficient. I have enjoyed needing minimal maintenance and repairs to the vehicle. The particular shade of blue of the exterior is one of my favorite qualities of the car. I like that it is a four-door sedan while retaining a compact feel. I also enjoy that it is a manual transmission.
Cons
The interior of the car is both uncomfortable and cramped. This is not the car to do long road trips in or invite your tall family members to cruise around in. The vehicle feels somewhat cheap, being that it is primary composed of plastic on the exterior.

2007 Saturn Ion - Pretty great car.

My 2007 Saturn Ion is a pretty great car. It’s red and very sporty looking with a rear spoiler attached as well. I haven’t had any mechanical issues with it, and it only has 80,000 miles on it. The interior is all black and red which I love because it’s super easy to clean and almost impossible to stain, but one the things that I hate about my car is the there is no middle seat in the back. I’m not sure why, but these cars don’t have a middle seat in the back. It is all plastic there which is really inconvenient because I can only have a maximum of 4 people in the car. It has a really good stereo just needs a higher amped sub woofer in my opinion.
Story
Driving to Arizona in this car to go visit some family was great! We drove the car across three states from where we are to Arizona on vacation to see some family. The car did really well. We didn’t have any issues, and we got there pretty quick. It has a sun roof, so that was really nice to use while we were driving on highways because you didn’t want to roll down your windows because we were... (more)
Pros
The interior and exterior of the car is nice.
Cons
No middle seat in the back. Stereo needs louder sub woofer.
