My 2003 Saturn Ion is grey in color and has suicide doors. I bought it with cash for two thousand dollars, and it wasn't in the best condition. My car right now has about one hundred and fifty thousand miles on it. The struts are out, but it is pushing along alright. It is also difficult to get parts for it because it is a much older car.
Story
I have taken this car to the beach because it is a car that I don't plan on keeping around for an extreme amount of time. This went over very well.
Pros
I really like that even though the car is basically breaking due to long time wear and tear, it still gets me from A to B. My favorite features are the power windows and many cup holders.
Cons
Cons about this vehicle is that there are no high-definition features like GPS, OnStar, Bluetooth or aux cable input, although you are able to use your tape player as an aux hookup. Another con is that it's easy to overfill the canister with gas.

The Saturn Ion is a well built automobile that requires minimal maintenance for long lasting performance. I had my engine compression tested as a precaution for age and at 12 years old the engine on my Saturn is testing very competitively.
Story
I enjoy driving through the seasonal village with my family, the large windows allow for an excellent view no matter where you sit.
Pros
Gas mileage on this model that I achieve is 32 mpg in the city and 41 mpg highway use. Wearable parts seem to last longer than expected, the only part I have changed in 12 years is the timing belt. The body of the car holds up well in extreme weather, no fading paint after years parked in the Las Vegas sun, no rust after a couple winters in the north east.
Cons
Access to the trunk in limited only one side of the back seat folds down limiting storage options. The speedometer and gauges are centered in the dash making it a bit confusing to monitor at first.
