My new Toyota Avalon is a good, reliable car which is something I look at when deciding if a car is for me. I like how the exterior and interior looks. The exterior looks like a luxury car without the luxury price. The interior is quite nice itself and very comfortable. There's many options available and the Touring which I own has pretty much all I need. The in-car GPS is great since I don't have to worry about leaving my GPS on my dashboard like I did before. Another minor detail I like is that the radio has a lot of spaces for FM/AM stations. I don't have to just choose 10 stations now. Another great thing is the sound quality. The music sounds great whether it be classical or heavy beat songs. I love how I am completely comfortable driving. The one downside is the ride feel. The ne... (more)
Story
My most memorable time with my car is when we went on a road trip early this year. We waited a while before doing this since we read that you should not take a new car on a road trip for awhile. So finally early this year we drove to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. We stopped by Valley of Fire and Hoover Dam. It was memorable because it was our first "far away" trip with the car.
Pros
What I like the most is how the car looks and the price I paid. It was like getting a luxury ride from the price of a mid-luxury car.
Cons
The one negative is the smoothness of the ride. The drive feel of the Avalon is like a sports car where you can feel every bump or smoothness of the road. When you drive in an area with lots of pot holes or uneven pavement, well you can feel them.
