The Mazda2 Sport with the hatchback trunk has a lot more room than you think! Both the back seat and trunk are much larger than they appear. It is the perfect car for taking a trip to the beach with all your gear in the trunk. It is small and gets great gas mileage - almost 35 miles per gallon. It is also small enough to fit in any parking space and you can "zip" around in it everywhere!
Story
My car is bright green so everyone recognizes me when I drive it around. People always honk at me thinking that I am someone else.
Pros
Great gas mileage! Lots of space. Fast but not to fast.
Cons
Doesn't have a lot of horsepower.

The truck has been great and reliable for the most part. The exterior finish has held up great for the last nine years with regular cleaning. However, you must remove the plugs in the rear fenders and wash them out to prevent the fenders from rusting. The ride quality is also very good with the independent front suspension. It has 150,000 miles and I haven't had to do any maintenance on it except for greasing joints. The interior seems to be holding up well, but the leather wrapped steering wheel has cracked and began to deteriorate. Also, the factor wheels started to have their clear coat flake off after around 50,000 miles, and it was blamed on road treatments, but I regularly washed and waxed them. Other than the regular maintenance, I have only had a few issues with electrical comp... (more)
Story
A couple months after purchasing the vehicle, I had a full-size tractor dump truck break down in front of my house, and I was able to tow him back to his shop with my 'passenger truck.'
Pros
The towing capabilities and the power and torque that this truck provides are amazing. The Duramax engine and Allison transmission combination is second to none. I love the look of the truck, and the ride quality is far superior to trucks in the same class from the competitors. The interior of the crew cab is also great providing ample head and leg room. I opted for the LT model with less features and gadgets, but it has everything one needs for a daily driver or workhorse with fewer things to potentially go wrong. The fuel mileage is also something that I have been very happy with as it g... (more)
Cons
The cons of this vehicle have been few and far between in my eyes when looking at a heavy-duty work truck. The price point is a bit high, and I would have expected some components to last longer with it. The worst problem I had was two injectors went bad when the truck was at 130,000 miles, and when hooked to a computer, it showed several others on the verge of going bad, so I replaced them all. The fuel filter seems to go bad faster than the book says it should and you get no warning unless you regularly flip through to look at its remaining life and all of the sudden you lose power. It i... (more)

This is our second Prius purchase. We decided to buy the Prius V this time, as it has a little more cargo room in it. Our first was in 2005 and this 2014 is still a very high quality vehicle. The car now has 27,000 miles on it and runs as if we just brought it home new. The interior looks like new still, also. If there are any spills, it cleans right up. Cargo space in this car is really a plus. We have 2 medium dogs and a small dog and they ride comfortably in the back, if we take them with us. Four adults on a lengthy trip are very comfortable and there is plenty of room for bags, etc in the back. We are tent campers and have taken the car camping more than once. Although we camp fairly light, the tent, airbed, sleeping bags, cooler and all the chairs and smaller things fit in the ca... (more)
Story
This car sometimes also goes to stay with my daughter at school. She manages properties as a part time job at school and does everything from A to Z-painting, caulking, cleaning, decorating, advertising etc. Although pretty peppy the car may not go from 0 to 60 in 30 seconds, but it goes to the mountains camping, then gets loaded the next weekend to tile and caulk and paint an apartment. The w... (more)
Pros
Pros would be: 1) the gas economy and the savings over the life of the car 2) the smooth, quiet ride 3) more cargo space than the regular Prius 4) the quality of the interior 5) it is an easy car to drive, with many conveniences such as cruise
Cons
There are only a couple of things that I can think of that are negatives; 1) our original Prius allowed you to enter any door that was locked as long as you had the key fob on you, this new one does not allow all doors to open, but only the driver's door 2) our first had push button on the door handle to lock it and this one requires that you dig for the key fob and use it to lock the car. Since you do not need the key fob to drive it, this is really kind of inconvenient. I do think you can get the similar features to our first Prius if you move up to a more expensive model, however. 3) As... (more)
