This truck is a V6 4WD Xtracab long bed model. It has an automatic transmission with overdrive, cruise control, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes (but not ABS), power locks. Also, power windows, a cloth split bench seat, sliding rear window, bed liner, and the optional locking rear differential. It currently has 240k miles.
Story
The most fun thing about this truck is that it has a tan interior and I have a yellow lab that loves taking rides but sheds constantly. He's always excited whenever I need to use the truck because it means he gets to go. We hike in the woods and trails that can't be reached with normal cars.
Pros
Reliability and dependability are excellent! The 4WD capabilities are well known throughout the world, even in stock form. The factory parts last a long time. Major maintenance is rare. The Xtracab provides room to carry a lot of extra stuff inside the cab and the small windows in the rear flip out and can be left open for air circulation without worrying about someone being able to open the locked doors. Technically there are flip down rear seats but a full sized person won't fit comfortably. Pets and children will. The V6 has plenty of power for a vehicle this size.
Cons
Certain factory parts can be expensive but the aftermarket parts aren't always the same quality. Research is key to getting the best experience. These trucks are known for frames rusting out, so extra attention needs to be paid to cleaning and prevention - especially living in an area that salts the roads in winter.

Bought this for the reliability but happy with it for various reasons. First, it looks as good as new with just a little care and attention, servicing has been cheap and breakdowns have been minor so far. The interior trim has stood up well to wear and looks great, seats are comfy on long drives and there are still no rattles or bits falling off! Outside the truck looks great. We added a rhino liner, which has been superb and has preserved the truck bed. The paintwork is the only complaint. It marks easily and is not up to the high quality of the rest of the truck. I would buy this truck again in a flash, been a great purchase! We got the double cab ,and so it serves the best of both worlds, as a five-seater vehicle and as a truck, albeit with a smallish bed we have used it for hauling... (more)
Story
Have had cash offers a few times as it looks so good! Seems like people are looking for this particular year of Toyota. The year after we bought it, they changed the style and it looked less distinctive.
Pros
Reliability, carrying capacity, and great looks.
Cons
Paintwork and fuel consumption.
