What can I say, this car is small but scrappy. I have totaled this thing twice but with every repair it just keeps running as if nothing happened. It gets amazing gas mileage which is important to me because I have a very far work commute. Due to the aforementioned commute, this car has a lot of wear and tear yet it just keeps going. A major advantage of its tiny size is how cheap it is to replace the tires; I usually get them for about 60 usd each. At just under 300,000 miles, the engine is still sound as ever. The car is pretty drab on the inside but I think the car itself has a pretty adorable body. Despite the small size, the car has strangely ample trunk space. Woe unto anyone over 5'7" who tries to get in the thing though, it really is a tiny car best suited for tiny people. On t... (more)
Story
This was no fun but it was certainly memorable: I was driving back home on a windy afternoon. My commute includes crossing a bridge over a large river. As I crossed the river, a powerful gust of wind blew and completely tore the steering wheel out of my hand, causing me to swerve around on the bridge. Nobody else was out at that time of night, thank goodness, but it was pretty scary.
Pros
Great on gas, essentially indestructible
Cons
Tiny, no power components

I've loved my burgundy red Toyota tersely immensely! It's always been there for me through the years and is a highly reliable and dependable vehicle to be sure! I love the look of it too, inside and out. While it's not a sports car or extremely flashy car, it gets the job done and you drive in style and comfort. I would've perhaps liked a speedier car, faster to accelerate, etc. Yet, this is a small shortcoming and I'm no race car driver. Overall just an excellent vehicle inside and out!
Story
Well many really. It's taken me to/from work, school, on sporting trips, etc. Hard to pick just one really. It's just old reliable and has been there through it all!
Pros
My favorites about my Toyota have to be its reliability and dependability. It's just a great car you can count on through the years. Toyotas generally are. I also love the inside decor, simple yet elegant. And the outer look too, very sleek and sexy. The air conditioner is great, stereo too! All great parts, the steering is nice and easy and the space inside is more than adequate. I love the maneuverability as well, very easy to drive.
Cons
If anything I'd have to choose its speed and acceleration. It could certainly have a bit more 'umph' under the hood. Sometimes it'd feel like it takes a while to get going from a stop but once driving is better. But yeah, the power of the car could be improved. Also, the brakes could have a better feel I feel. And it could be a bit higher up in seating from the ground too. But then again that's the style of this car so no worries. Overall just needs more umph!

This is a very reliable car. I have owned it for 7+ years, it has over 130K miles on it. This car is a 2 door, so getting children in an out of the back seat is difficult. It is a very small car, so if you are over 6 feet tall it feels cramped. The trunk space is also very limited. It gets reasonable gas mileage, about 30MPG. The car has never been aligned but does not pull either direction. The most major thing I have had to do on this car is replace the water pump. If you do have to do any mechanical work on the car under the hood, it is really difficult because the engine compartment is really small. This car does not have power locks or windows. The rear windows do not roll down. The A/C is underpowered and does not cool very well on hot days. The engine is also very underpowered -... (more)
Story
I remember when my wife and I were dating, we were going out of town to see a play that was about 3 hours away. When we got there I told my wife that I am never taking that on a long road trip.
Pros
Low maintenance costs Good MPG, about 30 MPG Reliable
Cons
Little leg room as the driver Little leg room as any passenger Only a 2 door so getting children in the back seat is hard A/C is under powered No power locks No power windows Rear windows do not roll down No overdrive (only 4 speed automatic) Engine is underpowered
