Acura CL Type S over fifteen years, bought in April 2000, one of the first off the line. It now has 160,000 miles and runs like the day I bought it. Of course I've suffered the transmission blues, but Acura took care of it at 107,000 miles. I drain and fi
It now has 160,000 miles and runs like the day I bought it. Of course I've suffered the transmission blues, but Acura took care of it at 107,000 miles. I drain and fill the trans once a year as part of normal maintenance. The engine is still strong and recently turned a quarter time equal to the time turned by Car and Driver when the car was first introduced. I always get compliments on the car, Marino red is a sharp color, parchment interior. Koni shocks, lowered 20mm and eighteen inch wheels sharpen the handling. This is the best car I've owed in fifty years and one of the most fun. I enjoy putting it through it's paces on a road race track every once in a while, still a daily driver. I expect to keep it for many years to come.

Acura CL.
I like the handling of this car. Three stages of suspension stiffening is plenty to cover your ground. I like the power button. More sensitive throttle response. Plenty of DCT control. Love the rev matching. Steering is tight. It's a race car for your daily commute. A car with 400 HP and good suspension can be full of driving fun. Engine sound is also fascinating. Of course the fuel consumption is not very beautiful because it's 4.0 liter and the maximum torque will only appear at high rev.

My amazing CL.
I love my Acura CL type S. It is 290 horsepower stock and very fast. I easily beat the BMWs and Audis all the time. People underestimate this car a lot. It's front wheel drive and handles great. I love driving it in the mountains. It has leather seats, automatic A/C and heat, heated seats/mirrors, big trunk, sunroof, nice wheels and such. It's a head turner for sure. I've never had another car that people comment on so much. The quality is amazing and Acuras last forever. I've taken care of mine with regular oil changes and maintenance and it's lasted forever. I put 100,000 miles on it already and it's still going strong. I really love the Acura CL type S. It's professional looking, 2 door coupe, with a comfortable interior. It also has a built in garage door opener.
