Reliable but falling apart
I bought this vehicle new and at this point would have to say that I would buy a different vehicle if I could go back. Don't get me wrong, there are many positives about it but overall, it just let me down in a few ways. First, from the get-go, it had a problem that would show it's head about every 100 or so shifts where shifting into 3rd gear would be impossible. After I purchased the car, I took it back to the dealership to have them fix the issue and was told that they could not help unless they could replicate the problem. So I left it with them 3 separate times, a week each time and was told each time that the problem could not be replicated. So I lived with the issue. About 5 years later I did some research and other drivers had the same issue and Acura had finally admitted to the issue. This angered me greatly as I had to deal with the problem all this time and was basically told that what I was claiming to experience wasn't actually happening. So that's my main grievance with the vehicle. When this gear problem I'm mentioning wasn't occurring, I will say that I really enjoyed driving the vehicle. It was speedy, reasonably okay for gas mileage (it requires premium gas) and I always liked the look and style of the car. One amazingly awesome attribute of this vehicle is how much space is available for hauling etc when the back seats are folded forward. Anyone who ever peeked into the back when I was loading etc always was amazed at how much room there is to haul etc when those seats are down. Really amazing and was very, very useful. Now that last problem that really turns me off about the purchase as a whole is just the low quality build of the car. I do realize that it's been 10 years now, but there are just so many parts that I feel I took care of and are just falling apart at this point. The seat has holes, the floor mats wore through, the molding that surrounds the driver side door to seal when closed would always come loose and I even replaced to have the same thing happen within a month at which point I gave up. I also never found the seats very comfortable, but I guess they aren't necessarily suppose to be with the racing style bucket type seats that were chosen. I do like the car, but if I had to give it some kind of rating out of 10, I think I'd give it a 6.

Acura RSX Reliable No Frills Daily Driver
The Acura RSX I have is the base model RSX in the blue color. It has been a good reliable car and has great mileage and decent performance. The car is easy to maintain and cheap to run. The thing I like is it's vtec engine which is economical at low speeds and decent on the highway. There is a lot of aftermarket parts for the car and is a decent car if your into tuning. It is a small interior inside the car.

Great car that gets great mileage. Another reliable hit from Honda.
The look and feel of the vehicle are the first things that stand out. It is a sport looking coupe from Honda's Acura brand. I drive the base model with the 5-speed manual transmission and it is a great enjoyment driving this car. I get great mileage and have a blast doing so. The car rides smooth and, being a hatch, allows for more room than one would think for trunk space in such a small car. I've done a fair share of hauling in it due to it being a hatchback vehicle. Being a Honda, the motor is extremely reliable. I've done road trips in the vehicle and the cruise control and climate control make the trips many times more comfortable. There are only two big downsides to this vehicle. The first being the cramped rear seats. The second being the cabin noise while on the highway.
