The Acura RSX is an reliable, quick and great handling hatchback. It has a really nice modern, sporty look that a lot of cars in the same price range lack. It has a great handling and enough power to get you to your destination. I've driven this car for over a decade and I'm about to hit 200,000 miles. It's still going strong and the styling and aesthetics still seem up to date. The car is a pleasure to drive. I've used it as a commuter and on long road trips.
Story
On long road trips, I'd often sleep in the trunk with a pillow and blanket. When I fold the seats down, I can lie down comfortably. Saved me some money on a hotel.
Pros
The most positive aspect of the car has to be the ample trunk space. You can fold down the rear 2 seats and carry all of your belongings. I was able to fit 4 large suitcases and all of my groceries. During college, I used this car to move all of my belongings including several pieces of furniture. The trunk space is just a huge feature that has always accommodated my needs. Other features include power windows, stereo/CD player, and a moon roof. It's very comfortable in the driver seat as everything is adjustable such as the seat, steering wheel, etc. The RSX also has great gas mileage.
Cons
The most negative thing about the vehicle would actually be the rear passenger seats. It is pretty cramped back there for passengers as some have their heads hitting the top of the trunk lid. It's not very comfortable back there. The leather and cloth material on the ceiling has worn out and ripped/cracked. The durability on the interior seems to be sub-par.

I originally bought this car because of my previous experience with BMWs. After each repair costing at least four digits, I wanted to get something more reliable or at least more common so that it would be less expensive to maintain. Having owned the car for a few years, I've had no major problems and every feature of its maintenance is far cheaper than my previous vehicles. I enjoy driving a small, sporty vehicle, especially since this is the manual version, as it feels agile to drive around in. Another positive about its size is how easy it is to find parking. The exterior of the car is well ahead of its time in design, as the curves are sleek without all the unnecessary edges of today's aggressive-looking cars. The interior is full leather, which is great as a passenger, but t... (more)
Story
I have the most fun driving my RSX in hilly areas, where it is really obvious that the car is well balanced. The acceleration isn't great on the uphills, but it really shines on the downhill corners.
Pros
Gas mileage, agility, leather interior is mostly a positive, reliability, ease of maintenance
Cons
Car was only in production from 2002 to 2006. It was very expensive to replace a window that someone vandalized. It's fairly annoying to drive in highly trafficked areas.
