This Acura was the best car I've ever owned. It is literally thrilling to drive! But it has to be the type S version, as it has the extra 40 horsepower which makes all the difference. It's very nimble in the turns, and it has held up to some punishment with very minor problems. It's been dependable for every time I've ever needed it to be. I really can't recommend it enough! The quality is good enough; it's not a high end luxury car, but it comes with everything that you need. Power windows, A/C, heated mirrors, cruise control, good Bose radio, etc. It's a four seater two door but may as well just be a two seater as anybody in the back probably isn't going to enjoy themselves for very long.
Story
We were going on vacation, and I had just put a new aftermarket exhaust on the car. In the tunnels going under Chesapeake Bay, I was flying through the tunnels, and it sounded like an F1 race car because of the echo. I'll never forget it.
Pros
My favorite thing about this car was the engine and throttle response. It had I-Vtec, which was so much fun, it would literally kick in at 6800 RPMs and push you into your seat. It was great for when you needed that extra little push to get around a car or pass somebody. The fact that it was a six speed was also super fun to drive. It handled really well for a hatchback. The car came with a small subwoofer in the back, and I added my own to the stock radio and let me tell you, this thing pounded. The stock radio is pretty good by itself! The way it looked nice and sleek, not too big, but n... (more)
Cons
Honestly, there weren't very many things that I didn't like about this car. But I can think of a few. In the middle of the backseat, there is a piece of hard plastic, which can prove very uncomfortable if you try to jam five people in there. Some of the knobs were worn so much that the colors had come off them. The headlights burned out sometimes and were a pain to change. You will get a speeding ticket in this car because it feels like you're going slower than you actually are, and with 200 horsepower in a 2,600 pound car, it gets up and goes when you want it to. The wheels get stained if... (more)

I absolutely loved my 2004 RSX Type-S, it was super sporty and fun to drive, and looked great on the inside and out. Was a great first car for me, always felt safe and comfortable driving it, and overall always had a fun time.
Story
I once went on a long drive down to the beach near Gig Harbor with my best friend in this car. It was great because the car was super fun to drive around the windy roads, the Bose sound system sounded great blasting our music, and the sunroof meant that we could let all the beautiful sun in.
Pros
It was a super reliable car, never had any mechanical issues. Had great handling, and was fast when you got on it. Appearance of the car is beautiful, looks luxurious and sporty at the same time. All of the components on the inside of the car like dials and knobs were of very high quality. Large trunk, could easily transport huge Costco runs of food using this car. The K20 engine sounded amazing at high rpm's, and VTEC made for numerous exhilarating speed runs, while allowing for great gas mileage in everyday use.
Cons
Requires premium gas which can get expensive. Clutch petal was hard and tough to push in. The door locks and other electronic components started acting up and not working. Leather seats were nice, but wore easily, especially on the driver side. Because it is a two door, the back seats were very small and a bit cramped, did not have a middle seat in the back, so could only seat 4 people which was inconvenient at times. Because it was an Acura, the services did cost more than say a Honda.
