2009 Acura TSX - Sporty but comfortable

The car hasn't had too many maintenance issues given that its at over 100k miles now. Its comfortable and rides smooth. Gunmetal color with a spoiler on the back to make it sportier. The model looks strange now without the spoiler. The car gets fantastic fuel economy around 38 mpg on highway.
Title
I took it from Toronto down to Miami where I did my undergrad in one sitting which is ~31 hours.
Pros
The car rides smooth and handles well. The features that came with the car such as the lifetime Sirius xm radio and seat warmers are what makes it the best. The car also makes you seem like you are going faster than you are so there's the thrill without the reckless abandonment of safety
Cons
The only negative things about the car are that its low and can be scraped easily on the undercarriage. Also the mirrors are by far the worst feature on the car as they are absolutely tiny. It can make relying on them to change lanes difficult to say the least and I'd even go so far as to say my driving style has adapted to look over my shoulders predominately because of it. Also if you have to move anything the car is somewhat limited in space due to its trunk configuration.

Such a wonderful purchase! At first I thought I would not enjoy this luxury Audi vehicle, with all its bells and whistles but, having driven it for 3 years, now, everyday to work, with an hour commute both ways, I must admit, this is by the far the most comfortable and reliable car I've ever owned. It is quite fancy but very high tech and runs great, with minimal maintenance and great mileage both on the street and on the highway. I love the soft interior and heated seats as well as the leg room. The trunk is big enough to hold a lot of shopping bags and the back seats can fold forward for extra space. What's more, there are back seat airbags and a vanity mirror. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a luxury and reliable car.

My husband and I drove to Las Vegas from Los Angeles without a hitch.
Pros
Comfortable but sporty
Cons
Expensive, a little bulky

We bought a 2009 TSX because it handled great on the road and it was a more dressed up version of the Honda Accord we were considering along with the Toyota Camry. We loved the fact it had a sporty look to it, came with leather interior, and had asun roof. Plus, it had dual climate control, which was a dream come true for my often-cold wife and me. The price was solid and overall and we thought we had landed the perfect car for us to enjoy either for work or play on the weekends. The car was perfect for zipping off on the weekend and we enjoyed driving it unless we were stuck in traffic on major highways. The gas mileage has been very good. Overall, the car has been inexpensive to maintain, but it does require more frequent washes since it is white. The paint job seems to hold up well ... (more)

With a sunroof and easy riding, this car was a dream for my wife and I to hit the highway and enjoy a smooth ride to the beach. Nothing beats cruising along the coast with the sunroof open enjoying the sea air on a beautiful day.
Pros
Like I said one of the first things we loved about the car was the dual climate control. The sound system is awesome and the car handles like a dream on the open road. Without breaking the speed limit by too much, the car takes corners well and feels like you are driving a high performance car on the open road. We have received good wear and tear inside and out as well. The leather seats are terrific as is the heated seats - a major plus for winters in the northeast for sure. I owned a SUV before buying this car, so gas savings is another huge plus. I test drove the TL in this company as w... (more)
Cons
There has been one big knock on the car since we bought it and that's since it is so low to the ground it has been a terrible car to drive in New England winters. Unless you have monster snow tires, the car had poor handling on the road in ice and snow - plus the low clearance means it is easy to get stuck in just a few inches of snow. The car also seems to struggling driving in icy conditions and its very easy for it to get stuck on the highway. The other knock on the car has been it seems to burn through oil a bit too often - something that was noted in a recent recall notice we received... (more)
