I purchased this vehicle about a year ago. I loved it from the beginning. It is a top of the line model. I have been taking it to the Acura dealer in my town for service. The dealers been great, the car didn't have any problems in the first 12 months that I owned it, despite it being a slightly older car with slightly higher miles. HOWEVER, just yesterday I my check engine light came on. I have done some research online and it seems that I might have to replace the whole turbo. I am a little disappointed with its reliability now. I had nothing but good things to say about this car until now. The interior has held up very nicely and all the tech systems work great. I have had no problems with the electronics or any superficial part of the car. Before this engine problem I have only had ... (more)
Story
When I let my younger brother drive it down the street, he used the paddle shifters on the steering wheel ( I didn't even know those were on there) and he loved it. He giggled like a 12 year old girl-He's 20.
Pros
I love the tech package, the Bluetooth is a must have. Also the interior is very nice.
Cons
It is having an engine (turbo) problem only one year after I bought it. It is expensive to repair as well.

This is an extremely comfortable car that was well thought-out in it's design. It drives superbly and has had no mechanical issues in the 130,000 miles I have driven on it. It handles well on a variety of surfaces including ice, snow, and rain and makes me feel safe when driving on these surfaces. The lie-flat turn down of the back seats allows for a large amount of space to pack or move items such as boxes, chairs, and suitcases. It also makes a large comfy space for our large dog to lie comfortably. LATCH hooks provide a safe and secure place to attach car seats. I have had some speaker issues, as several cut out periodically, but this is the only electronics issue I have had with the vehicle. The built in NAV system will get you from point a to b, but not always in the most efficien... (more)
Story
I had to take this on a mountain road completely covered in snow and ice. It was the only pass still open to get home and the Acura RDX performed flawlessly even when I saw countless cars on the side of the road unable to continue in the snow.
Pros
Comfortable design lie-flat back seats all-wheel drive
Cons
Speakers a bit unreliable Nav system has an odd algorithm which doesn't always give the most efficient directions.

Small SUV is very stylish, both in interior and exterior. It has good sight lines for driving, and handles more like a car than an SUV. It's turbo charged engine has a lot of pop. The interior is very roomy and comfortable, especially the heated seats. We can use it for versatile functions like moving large items, loading dogs in the back, or family vacations. It has all the reliability you expect with a Honda/Acura product and is easy to maintain vs. other luxury brands.
Story
We brought our first born child home from the hospital in this vehicle.
Pros
Our favorite features are its versatility, comfort, and reliability. We can use it as a family car in all aspects, the heated leather seats are a big hit, and the simple design of Honda products makes self-maintenance very easy and cost effective. The turbo-charged engine gives it excellent performance.
Cons
There are very few negatives. The first would be the gas mileage is mid-to-low 20's and it requires premium fuel, making operating costs expensive. It's also a bit small at times for moving things in the car. The narrow top of the hatch makes it prohibitive to fit and move things at times. It would also be nice to have a hatch on the back window.
