This Acura RDX performed very well over the years. With its all leather interior it has proven to be resistant to the toughest wear. I carry a lot of books and martial arts gear in the car and still have space to seat four passengers. The car drives smoothly, especially at highway speeds. The driver's seat is extremely comfortable and easily adjustable. It is a push-to-start model and is easy to use. Not having to have the key in your hand makes this a great SUV for when your hands are full. I often walk out of the house with a backpack on and my hands full of books and coffee. Being able to just pull the door open saves a lot of trouble putting stuff down and picking it back up. With approximately 70,000 miles on it, it still drives smoothly and has had no notable issues with it. I ha... (more)
Story
I took this vehicle up on a road trip through Vermont, Maine, Canada, and back down to Maine. Needless to say, there was a large amount of time spent in this car. Nearly five days of travel often late in the night and early in the morning. Watching the sun rise and set in different states and countries was a terrific experience that I would not hesitate to repeat. This SUV traveled through som... (more)
Pros
Space. Traction in bad weather. Ease of door opening.
Cons
In low gears, sometimes a bit herky-jerky.

ThereÕs something incredibly empowering about knowing that youÕre capable of getting yourself from Point A to Point B. When youÕre just starting out, with a stressed-out mother and your brand-new license with the ugly picture, that new-found independence can feel pretty darn good. But however grown-up it might make you feel, driving is a huge responsibility.
Story
I enjoy seeing the views from the road and off-road. I enjoyed riding a motor scooter on crowded roads since I could pull over and drive slowly on the shoulder.
Pros
Just about every teenager dreams of driving independently, but I think we forget that every time we put the key in the ignition, we risk our lives.
Cons
I love driving. I commute 32 miles each way to and from work every day. I can easily drive for 16 or more hours with only a few breaks for food, gas and potty stops. IÕve driven from San Francisco to Phoenix in one day. San Francisco to Seattle in one day. From Chicago to San Francisco in slightly less than two days and a half days. I love driving cross country, this big beautiful country of ours.
