I have owned my Buick LaCrosse for ~10 years now, and it has been very reliable. It has a few mechanical issues that have needed to be addressed and some electrical issues, but overall, it has been the best car I have ever owned.
Story
The first time I test-drove it at the dealership, the engine was so much quieter than the van I was replacing that I had to ask if the car was actually running.
Pros
It has a very roomy cabin that I was able to fit comfortably into, even though I am 6'3" tall and even when I was 350 lbs. Unlike most (p)leather seats, I don't slide around on the ones in this car. There have been some issues that required repair, but in the ten years I have owned it, this car has been very reliable and steadfast.
Cons
The cigarette lighters have never worked, and replacing the fuse just results in the new fuse blowing immediately. The adjustable lower-back support broke almost immediately. The Freon in the A/C needs to be recharged every other year. The radio has twice gotten into a state whereby only the manual tuner has any function and this state persists indefinitely (I have no idea how it fixed itself the first time). Occasionally the brakes will slip (not skid) if I don't brake very gently, especially if the wheel is turned (auto shop indicated this may be a suspension issue). I really do not like... (more)

My last three vehicles have been Buicks. Overall, they are a very reliable, solid car with many extras that are actually standards for Buicks. They are a luxury car at a economic price. Buicks are on average good for over 150,000 miles. Some have over 200,000 miles on their Buicks.
Story
Several times this past summer my husband and I went to a nearby orchard to pick blueberries. This may not seem too memorable to most, but my husband has dementia. It was something that he seemed to remember and enjoy. It brought back good memories of times in past.
Pros
This car is very comfortable to ride in and are fairly reliable. I like that it has a remote starter. That is very good to have when living is a cold region, since I can warm the car on very cold days before I get in it. The trunk is very roomy. This is good for me since my husband and I own a commercial cleaning business and our work supplies fit comfortably in the trunk. There are a lot of automatic features in this car, auto running day lights, auto drivers window when pressing the window button just twice. There are steering wheel controls which allow for hands free driving.
Cons
Shortly after I purchased the vehicle, the heater broke and I had to install a thermostat. After driving the car for 30,000 miles the transmission began to have problems. The gas mileage could be better. It only averages 17 miles around town and 23 on the highway.
