This car is beautiful inside and out, which is why I was drawn to it. I love the way a Buick drives and how smooth of a ride it is. However, this particular model has many issues. I had no idea these issues were present in this year and model. I should have researched more. Unfortunately, there is an existing issue with the communication between computers in this car. I spent thousands of dollars and at least a year of time just trying to find out what that problem was. Dealerships didn't even know. The Stabil Trak is the biggest problem. It would send signals to the car, which would reduce the engine power and, therefore, make you have to pull over and drive it at ten miles an hour to get it to a shop or have it towed. The problem wreaked havoc with every system in the car. In the end... (more)
Story
Any lengthy trip around my area is pleasurable (minus any performance issues) since the vehicle is so comfortable. I've always appreciated that.
Pros
Beautiful leather interior. Wood grain controls. The "light-up" accents inside are really nice. The body has rounded curves, which are not that uncommon; however, the car is a mid-size range unlike many other models on the road today. The seats are all power. The DIC is very informative regarding where there may or may not be an issue with the vehicle.
Cons
Without a doubt, the biggest con is the issues with the wiring in the vehicle. It was a problem which Buick addressed in later models, but the damage was done. Many people gave up on Buicks all together.

I love the fact that the interior when driving is "pin drop" silent. It is well built too - out of steel ... unlike so many of the more modern day cars. I would also say the engine has held up well with simple oil changes every 3,000 miles or 3 months. No real problems so far with the vehicle. The trunk is roomy and surprisingly large for a sedan.
Story
There seem to be so many Buick Lacrosse LX models with the same color as mine in my area. One time, when I was coming out of the grocery store in a big packed lot, I went to open my driver side door with my key and it wouldn't work, and I was getting frustrated trying my key until I realized it wasn't my car! My car was parked one row over, and I had been trying for 15 minutes to get into some... (more)
Pros
I got the Buick Lacrosse with the heated seats, which I love in the winter. The interior is so roomy, and I truly enjoy being able to stretch out when driving. Mine came with a V6 engine, which is overkill, as the only time I really need the power is pulling on to the interstate. The Buick handles like a champ when it needs to accelerate. The driving and handling are great.
Cons
There are few cons to be honest. I am really struggling to figure out what con to put down. I have been pleased with everything -- the only item that sometimes annoys me is the gas mileage. For me, it gets about 19-22 miles per gallon depending on what situation I am driving in. I truly think that for a sedan getting at least 25 or more would be more expected.
