I absolutely love my little Cavalier! The size is a perfect compact with enough room for comfort. So far it has over 150,000 miles on it and still runs like a champ. The gas mileage is absolutely fantastic! I put in about 20 dollars worth of gas (at about 2 dollars a gallon) and it'll last me the month of work and errands. It only took 2 tanks to make a road trip from St. Paul, Minnesota to Aurora, CO. When I bought the car it had some exterior damage, yet still looks great. The interior is cozy and neat. Sometimes my car will die randomly, but usually when the gas is too low, so not sure if that's for every Chevrolet Cavalier. Story
This vehicle brought me and my fiancée to Colorado and has been with for all of our exploring! Camping is the most memorable time.
Pros
There are so many great features of the Chevrolet Cavalier. My absolute favorite has to be the amazing gas mileage! Seriously, twenty dollars a month for gas is definitely reasonable to what I used to pay on previous vehicles. As I already addressed, the trunk space and storage space in this compact car are actually very exceptional! One car full is all we need to take a camping trip in the mountains, the Chevrolet Cavalier will hold it all! Being compact makes driving a breeze! Switching lanes is easier, merging is definitely easier, it's easier to avoid accidents, this is part of why the... (more)
Cons
The only negative aspect of my Chevrolet Cavalier would be that it will randomly die. This only happens occasionally though. This year it hasn't happened yet, but we're only 26 days into this new year. Other than the occasional dying issue I haven't really had problems. The problems I have encountered are reasonable for all the usage it has had as well as the fact that the mileage is over 150,000. I can't even believe it's still running! It's decently rusty, but this is almost unavoidable when you spent years living in Minnesota and Wisconsin (the amount of salt they use in the winter is a... (more)
