Not a kid friendly car
My husband initially bought this car Chrysler 300 for his vehicle but a few years later down the road I had issues with my sports utility vehicle Cadillac Escalade and was forced to take his vehicle. I have 3 kids and do not think this vehicle was designed for a family. There are some pros about the car it has a huge trunk and is very roomy in the interior of the vehicle. My son is an avid fisherman and he can fit his full size fishing poles inside the vehicle. I think the car was made for luxury maybe for a bachelor that would take care of it and be gentle with it. I do not think it holds up very well to kids and my kids do respect the vehicle its just cheaply made I think. I have also noticed lately maybe the transmission is about to fail because the car shifts kind of hard. I have heard that Chryslers have lots of tranny problems. I think the car is beautiful and looks very classy and would be a lovely car for an elderly couple or someone without kids. The car is ok on gas mileage I have driven it to Tennessee several times without any mechanical issues and my car is almost 10 years old. I would not but this car again mostly due to the fact that I am used to having a sports utility vehicle and cannot get use to the design of a 4 door car sedan. I really do not like the front design because the profile of the car sits so low to the ground so when you pull into parking spots the front clip gets hung up on the concrete barrier in the parking spots. I have actually tore off most of the underneath plastic due to this design and I have learned to not pull so close in the parking spaces at the stores.

My soldier.
I call this car my soldier. My 06 Chrysler 300 has brought me through so much. Before I got my current car, I had another Chrysler 300 and was unfortunate in an accident, I knew I wanted to replace it with another one. Before that I had a Chevy SS truck and I for sure choose my Chrysler over an amazing truck as that is. Honestly, If anything ever happens to my car I will buy the same kind. Totally sold on Chrysler 300s.
