2005 Pontiac Bonneville Calificaciones y Reseñas de los Dueños

2005 Pontiac Bonneville - Old but solid, sturdy vehicle.
This vehicle, by the time I had owned it, was obviously past its prime, but at only 50K miles it ran well. The vehicle ate gas very quickly, but was powerful on the road. The quality of the car when it was built was 2005 was very nice for a car at that time. The biggest issue the vehicle had was the trunk, which would flood like Noah's Ark after heavy rains. I had to take the carpeting in the trunk out, and the space was virtually unusable. The dealer was unable to find a blockage in the sunroof or a source of the leak, so the issue was never fixed. While the vehicle was reliable and tank-like, it was difficult to find parts and maintain while on a graduate student budget crunch.
Historia
I used to go fishing in Cresson with my Pappy, and we would travel in that vehicle. It was the vessel I used to go catch fish and sing to them.
A Favor
Sturdy on the road, a heavy vehicle that fared well in the snow in my area. The seat warmers and sunroof were nice touches.
En Contra
The engine torque sometimes out-performed the ability of the tires and brakes. The vehicle was a gas hog. The leaking trunk was awful.
2005 Pontiac Bonneville - Good to get around town.
I originally bought the car for a second car, just in case my primary car was (for whatever reason) not available to drive. I still like the Pontiac brand itself...just not a Bonneville made in 2005. I have owned them before, and I either got a lemon or the more technology they put on cars, the worse they get.
A Favor
Pontiac is a brand I like even to this day. It was a really good deal. It had only 72,000 miles on it, and I bought it in 2015. I love the way the car looked as well as the interior. I was never more comfortable in a car like my Bonneville. The seats were adjustable the car had adequate storage.
En Contra
It rusts very quickly and spreads like a wildfire. The suspension was never quite right. It always seemed too low and a little too bouncy even after putting $1,400.00 worth of work into the suspension. Was not too great on gas either. The driving on the freeway was less than pleasant experience. The handling of the car was just off.
