The Ford Focus is a great mid-size car. This is a perfect car for a new or experienced driver. The car handles really well and is not burdened with a lot of unnecessary gadgets that drivers typically do not use. The display is very easy to read, and it contains very valuable information such as current mileage, how many miles until empty, trip odometer, and speed. Another great feature are the warning or status messages. The driver is notified when tires need inflating, washer fluid is low, or how many miles left before running out of gas. The interior is very comfortable and easy to care for. This car also has a decent amount of leg room in both the front and back seats. Probably the best feature of the car is the gas mileage which equates to saving money. The Focus can go ov... (more)
Story
I enjoy taking my son to school and spending time in the car with him. My son likes the car and is very comfortable in it.
Pros
Great gas mileage. Easy to drive and handle. Well-designed interior.
Cons
Four-cylinder engine is a little under powered at times. Interior fan is weak, and it takes longer to heat and cool the interior.

The review I am writing about is for my 2005 Ford Focus. It's a hatchback car that I got when I was in college. It currently has a lot of miles as I've used it as a commuter car for the past 10+ years. I've taken it on drives from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back many times so being that it's more than 10 years old, it's likely in its last few years.
Story
Probably the road trips to the Bay Area or Las Vegas with friends.
Pros
My car is great on gas as the average MPG is 35. Because it's my main mode of transportation, I like that I can get around without having to fill up on gas often. Being a hatchback, I also like that I can fit a lot in my car if needed. Since having my car, I've had to move to different places and it's helped in moving fairly large items from place to place. It's also a unique car as I don't see too many Ford Focuses around. Lastly, the color is a unique orange.
Cons
Since I've had my car I've had some issues. Firstly, the car stereo had issues as the CD player ate my CDs and I had to take it to the dealer for a replacement. Five years later, I had an issue with the accelerator as the car would accelerate on its own. I, again, had to take it to the car dealership and had to get it repaired for a lot of money. Throughout time, the quality of the interior has been deteriorating as some of the fabric has been peeling, the paint on the buttons are chipping off, and the air vent doesn't work properly.

They had the vehicle I wanted in stock and it was a lower price than the dealerships around where I live.
