The 2013 Honda CRV is the best sport utility vehicle I have owned. The vehicle was one year old when I bought it with eight thousand miles on the odometer, and after an additional seventy miles it still drives like it is brand new! With the exception of regular maintenance the car has never had any problems that required going back to the shop. The only things that were replaced over the years have been one set of front brakes, one set of tires, and a new battery. Other cars I've owned in the past have needed bearings, engine mounts, oxygen sensors, and a few other things before the car even hit fifty thousand miles. But not this CRV. You really get great Honda build quality and reliability for your money. The size of the car is just about perfect. It is step in height, so no climbing ... (more)
Story
One of the best things about my 2013 Honda CRV is its ability to drive well in any weather. When I had to drive home as a snowstorm had just started, my CRV got me home safe and without any problems. Despite snow covering the roads, this car will pull you through with great handling and confidence.
Pros
Some of the best features of the 2013 Honda CRV can be found in the comfortable and functional interior. Upfront the driver and passenger seats are very comfortable for long drives. The seats are flat, and do not have that uncomfortable sport bolstering some subs have now. They also have individual arm rests for the driver and passenger. The center console has a roll top, which gives easy access to a space large enough to fit a medium sized handbag. The side by side cup holders located under the shifter give easy access to your drinks without having to take your eyes off the road. The rear... (more)
Cons
I can only find one thing on the 2013 CRV that I do not like, and that is the drivers side mirror's wide angle view on the edge. I do not find it helpful. It does not impede your vision or cause any problems. I just do not like it.

I have owned my pre-owned CRV for about 8 years and I drive it to work 5 days a week. My parents were the previous owners and they took good care of it. It is brown on the inside and outside. I have tried to take good care of it and most recently replaced the tires. A couple of years ago I replaced the stereo. The original stereo worked but still included a cassette tape player and a 6 CD changer. CDs had recently gotten jammed so the CD player no longer worked. The new stereo allows me to connect to Bluetooth for hands free calling and to play Pandora.
Story
One day I was driving down Connecticut Avenue and there were two other brown CRVs just like mine- one was next to me and one was behind me. I got the attention of the other drivers and I was very excited. One of them was amused and the other didn't seem to care that the three of us were all in the same vehicle.
Pros
The CRV has been the perfect car for me. The size of the CRV is a great fit for my driving ability. If it were any larger I would have difficulty parking. I feel safer sitting higher off the road than in a sedan. I like the moon roof and use it all the time. That is one of the most important features to me in a vehicle. I also like the arm rests. That seems to be a feature that is rare for a small SUV. The amount of storage is great for all of my gear. It is nice to have a spare tire with me. In the winter weather, having all wheel drive comes in handy. My best friend drives a CRV too a... (more)
Cons
Ideally this vehicle would get better fuel mileage, have a larger gas tank, and perform better on the highway. It is sluggish above 60 miles per hour. I feel like I have to fill up on gas all the time compared to other vehicles. If it came in a hybrid that would be perfect. Most of my driving is stop and go so fuel efficiency is very important to me.

The service and friendliness of the staff had to be some of the best I have ever experienced. When I came in, I was already having a terrible day plus I had been looking for a dealership that would work with my credit and help pay off or trade in my 2011 Jeep Commander and had no luck. The people there walked me step by step through the process, give me a pep talk when I taught I wasn't going to be able to get the car. But long behold, I talked to there financial advisor and they paid for my truck and got me a great deal on my dream car with only a little more interest. I will be visiting them again in January to get a newer model and will always give them my service.

Anderson is great because their customer service is no nonsense. Their dealers are not the sleazy types that you would expect from a car lot; they are very respectable and they know what they are talking about. Every time I've needed repairs, I've taken my car to Anderson because their mechanics are also the best. They got me into my Honda Civil Hybrid and I've loved the car and their continued support since.
