2014 Kia Sorento - My first good car!
Even though it's a used car, it runs like new, even with 80,000 miles on it. I love the way it handles and the snazzy features. Although I had a couple of problems with little, inconsequential things like buttons and doors. It didn't have a huge impact on my opinion on the car but enough to complain about it for a few days.
Story
I was taking my daughter to the park, and right when we were getting out, a bird landed on the hood of the car. We all froze in place, astounded that the bird was so bold and awed at seeing a live one so close. We couldn't move for fear of startling it away, and I whispered to my daughter that it looked like a cardinal. Bright red and beautiful. I started wondering if this was a sign of good l... (more)
Pros
One of my favorite features is the back-up camera. No more guessing where the mailbox is! Also, the cruise control is very responsive, allowing me to switch in and out of it if I hit traffic. The best thing about it is the roomy seats, especially the driver. I have long legs and a big tummy, so that's a must. Also, the fuel economy seems to be pretty good. I tend to get around 23 miles to the gallon.
Cons
One of my only complaints was that the buttons for the radio are located on the steering wheel. I know that's probably standard by now, but I keep accidentally changing the channel when I turn. I also don't like the automatic doors. They seemed to have a mind of their own before I learned how to finesse them.
2010 Kia Sorento - Well worth the money.
I purchased my Kia Sorento used but have had no major issues with it. It has been very reliable and came with all the bells and whistles but I haven't had any issues with any of the add-ons. The interior is roomy and comfortable, the fold-down seats offer extra storage capacity, and the all-wheel drive has performed very well in treacherous weather conditions.
Story
I took my Kia Sorento on a road trip to the beach and had a wonderful time. We folded down the rear seats to give our dogs a comfortable place to ride, fired up the satellite radio, opened the sunroof and hit the interstate.
Pros
The Kia Sorrento has shown positive fuel efficiency and really gets its money's worth on the highway. The V6 engine is lively and responsive, as is the powertrain. The body styling is distinctive and stand out from other SUVs and the addition of backup cameras and extras like satellite radio and Bluetooth phone controls make driving a breeze.
Cons
The negative aspects of the Kia Sorrento are few, but there are some things I would change if I could. The positioning of the windshield supports leaves several blind spots around the car while driving, as well as blind spots on the sides of the vehicle. This can make interstate driving somewhat of an adventure. Also, the suspension is very good but extremely tight, leading to a less than optimum riding experience especially on poorly maintained roads.

2010 Kia Forte - Koons Kia Of Baltimore Owings Mills
This dealership always feels so clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to get you the car you want and can afford. Luckily there is quite the selection to choose from so you can try different cars and models to see which one is best for you. Finally it's in Owings Mills which is convenient and has plenty of other things to do nearby.
2008 Kia Optima - Hagerstown Kia
The sales people were helpful and understanding of our situation. At the time our credit wasn't the best but they worked with us to reach a payment that we could manage. We were able to buy the exact car we wanted, that same day, and my husband still made it to work on time! Very fast and friendly staff!
