I got more than I paid for.
This car is great for good fuel economy, it has great safety features and it is very easy to get in and out of, even for a 300-pound man and a 380-pound woman. Many parts of this car seem to be of high quality. It is bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. The seat belts in the front are adequate for very large people. I replaced the rear springs with the rear springs from a 2002 Beetle. This made the car drive much sportier, and the rear end stopped bottoming out.

Fantastic gas economy
I love driving this car! It is smaller and not a 'luxury vehicle', but its economy is amazing. When we bought it, the dealer advertised it as "44 mpg Highway" - but we regularly get 50 mpg highway driving. It has a smaller gas tank but it costs less than $20 to fill him up at current gas prices. The suspension is good but you do feel a lot a bumps - small wheel base and smaller tires do make a difference it seems. However, this car can turn on a dime! I rarely need to do a 3-point turn as I can swing a tight turn on the street! You can easily fit 4 adults into this vehicle and we are seriously considering using it for a long road trip as it is so inexpensive to run. We often only have to fill the tank once or twice a month, which I know would vary depending on how long your commute is and whether you live in a town or country. Living in Minnesota, I was worried originally about how it would hold up on icy roads in the winter, because of it being so much smaller and lighter than other vehicles. However, I am pleased to say that so far we have no problems - my husband is a Minnesota native so was used to driving in the ice whereas I had only been driving here for 2 years, but neither of us have had any major problems - indeed, driving a newer car has made me more confident as I know I'm less likely to have to deal with any engine trouble like I may have had in an older car.
