Used Mitsubishi Lancer for Sale

The Lancer is a very good car. Even when checking other reviews, it is obvious that it is just built to be good. Dealerships are actually seeking these vehicles out and are willing to pay more for trade in because of the popularity. Over the seven years that I have owned this vehicle, with over 100k miles it hasn't yet had major issues.

The 2003 Mitsubishi Lance base model has been a quality car. In the 10 years I have owned it, it has never broken down. At the time I purchased the car, it got very good gas mileage. Compared to newer cars, however, it does not fair as well. I like the stick shift and the cloth interior. For long road trips, I do find myself wishing I had cruise control. For short trips, the car is very comfortable, but on longer drives, I get tired of the fit for the seat. The car has enough pickup to pass if needed, and is fairly responsive. The front wheel drive does well in poor driving conditions. The heat/cold control cable did become faulty after several years, this part should not need to be replaced.

I have owned my Lancer for approximately six months now. It had only 4,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It is a smaller vehicle than I would prefer, but it is surprisingly spacious inside when the back seats are folded down. I find the interior comfortable, attractive, and well-designed. There are many useful features such as integrated Bluetooth and buttons on the steering wheel to control the radio or answer the phone. It performs reasonably well on the road, although I feel that the acceleration is slightly lacking. It does handle very well. I have never felt any vibration or rattling. I do not like the design of the rear window -- it is very large, which allows in a lot of sunlight, and the angle makes it difficult to see through at times. The only issue I have had with it is a minor problem with the tire pressure sensors warning me that I have low tire pressure (when that is not the case). When the "low tire pressure" warning is on, it covers most of the info screen on my dashboard, making it unable to display the information normally available on this screen (gas mileage, etc.).
