I really enjoy the style and compactness, while still having the ability to fit up to five people. First I was weary of the Mitsubishi brand (e.g., could not find parts, difficult to maintain, etc). But surprisingly, it's pretty easy and intuitive to figure out. Although, I do not like that there's only 1 button for pretty much all settings (e.g., mileage counter, gauges, etc.) - somewhat confusing. But other than that, pretty good vehicle!
Story
I love taking road trips in this vehicle-especially in the country-manual transmission is fun.
Pros
Reliable, very inexpensive, great value. Sleek design.
Cons
Not as gas saving as expected with manual transmission; would buy a CVT instead in the future.

I like the durability of my Mitsubishi Lancer since I have owned it I haven't had to have any major service done on the car except for one time when the radiator had to be replaced. Other than that regular oil changes and routine tune ups have kept me running smooth through out my time with the vehicle. The brakes took a bit of getting used to at first they were a little touchy. After about a week I was comfortable with the action and it was not an issue. Another positive is I leave early for work and it warms up fast in cold weather there is nothing worse than a car with slow heat and defrost where you have to start it 10 or 15 minutes before you plan to leave out fortunately that is not a problem with the Lancer. It's a very fun car to drive it fits my frame well and everything seems... (more)
Story
There is not much to speak of in that department. I'm not very good at telling or writing story's.
Pros
The top positive aspects of the vehicle are it has good gas mileage and ample acceleration for merging into traffic. I carry the family around and my uncle has long legs so there is lots of room in the interior for a car in its class. It also has a nice sized trunk for those large trips to the grocery. I am a musician and I sometimes travel. My musical instruments have plenty of room to store them and my luggage for trips away from home.
Cons
I like the overall design but I am not crazy about the outer body contours. I guess I have had my eye on getting a newer model that has a better design I prefer I cant really think of any other thing I don't like about it. I have grown to except it like one of the family.
