I use to have a Jeep Wrangler 2005 xe, but it was time to trade that in and get a car that was more practical. I loved my Jeep and so did my dog. I needed a SUV that didn't guzzle gas like my Jeep and a car that my dog would love. It also helps me transport more than just a few things when dealing with anything on a day to day basis. I really didn't want to spend an arm and a leg in order to get a new car and Jeeps hold there value well so I got this at a decent price. Its a decent car comparable to a Jeep Cherokee which I owned before my Wrangler. I'm about 5,000 miles into it and I can't say I've had any issues so far with it. Its brand new, but sometimes you get a dud. This is not the case for it at all.
Title
I think the first time I came home and grabbed my dog, put him in the front seat and went for a drive. I know its not the same for him as the Jeep, but he still seems to love it. There is lots of room for him to run around.
Pros
It gets great gas mileage for its size. I get about 30 miles per gallon, which is a huge bonus over my Jeep. Its a nice little car that doesn't break the bank. It has a great radio and sound system in it, so there's no complaints there. It has a great warranty on it, bar none one of the best I have ever had. This is my first car with navigation. I use to just use my phone, but its wonderful. The brakes seem like they can stop on a dime too, which wasn't the case for my Jeep.
Cons
I think the only con I have so far is the fact it doesn't have the power I had in my Wrangler. Its not bad in anyway, its just not the same. Its a fair trade for the gas mileage.

The Car Factory is among the best dealerships, or even businesses operated, that I've encountered. It's owner, staff, and genuine accommodating service is, without a doubt, unparalleled. They really set the standard in so many ways. I'm truly grateful to have met them and purchasing the car was just an added bonus. Easy and Smooth - I had the pleasure of first meeting Kevin and Jorge who were more than professional, kind, pleasantly transparent, and absolutely beyond reasonable. To say they went above and beyond by staying late, making sure my needs were met, and making the transaction happen is an understatement, but they did. I walked into the dealership for the sole purpose of research and maybe a 15 minute test drive and walked out purchasing a beautiful vehicle. Keep in mind, the ... (more)

We did our due diligence checking the Carfax, KBB, Edmunds, Craigslist, etc. To confirm that we were indeed getting a good deal. Once we were satisfied that we should make an offer, we went back and after a small back and forth, we settled on a great price for the car. Michael also agreed to some basic assurances in writing such as replacing the battery if needed and a free 30 day drivetrain w... (more)
Pros
The Car Factory embodies the very best of philosophies of, not just great customer service, but of how businesses should be run. I highly recommend this business and will definitely come back for future purchases.
Cons
There is nothing about negativity.

Solid built car. 51,000 miles and so far, the only thing that makes anything rattle is the incredible stereo. The fuel economy with the continuously variable transmission has been great, I have averaged over 28 miles per gallon so far, with a high of 39 on the highway. It's a very comfortable ride for long trips, I drove it from Austin, Texas to Boston, Massachusetts last summer and it was a great trip in it. The Rockford Fosgate stereo is impressive for a factory stereo system. For the price, there's a lot going on here and the warranty is incredible.
Title
Three week after I bought the car, we had a large ice storm. This car did admirably well handling one of the worst ice storms we've seen in Texas in many years and handled the cobblestone ice exceptionally well.
Pros
The stereo is very solid from the factory with the upgraded stereo. The seating position is good and the seats are comfortable for extended driving. The fuel economy for a SUV is very good. The sound isolation is above average and the car is relatively quiet overall. The warranty is outstanding, though I have not needed to use it. The paddle shifters impart a sense of sportiness, even if they don't do much for the actual performance.
Cons
The car could use about 50 more horsepower with the continuously variable transmission. It is very slow. The paddle shifters do nothing for performance with the continuously variable transmission. Some of the interior surface get dirty very easily and are hard to clean. There's a lot of hard plastic around the car. The glossy "piano black" surfaces are very prone to fingerprints. The bumper mounts are incredibly flimsy.
