2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Commack, New York
A solid daily driver.
I never really considered Mitsubishis when I was looking for a used car. I went to the dealer lot with a Toyota, Honda, or even Hyundai in mind. But the Lancer was attractive and had the features I wanted, so I decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I did. Despite being a compact, it is pretty spacious. I'm over 6 feet tall and I've never felt cramped in it. The back seats have enough room for adult passengers. The trunk space isn't bad, either. While it's by no means a sports car, I found the acceleration to be peppy. I always feel like I could quickly accelerate if I need to, for example when passing on the interstate. Despite being an import, I never have to pay an arm and a leg for repairs. But best of all, even with minimal maintenance, I almost never have to have the car repaired. It is very reliable. Just the usual things, like new brakes, oil change, etc., and it's good to go. Not a flashy car, by any means, but a very nice daily driver.

Great and reliable.
I purchased the car used. The previous owner was a mechanic. The interior of the car has held up really well with no tears or rips. It runs great for being an older model with no major expensive vehicle fees. I would more than likely buy the same car again in a newer model. It is a great price for the money that it was purchased for. I would have preferred if the radio would have been a better quality. When I purchased this used, the antenna on the outside of the vehicle was missing. The overall purchase price of this used vehicle is well worth the money. I would definitely purchase it again. I have already got 2 years out of this older model.

Great economy car
I love this car. It has good zip and is good on gas. I bought this car for a good price from a friend. Has plenty of room form all my stuff, might be able to fit a six-foot surf board. All the power equipment still works including windows and door locks. 100,000 plus miles and the engine feels like it could go for another. Paint and trim need work, interior is in bad shape but gets the job done - Point A to B.
