Overall this is a good vehicle. For being older than other cars you can own, it does well with gas mileage and performance. The engine runs good and is reliable. The vehicle "picks up" well. By that I mean it can easily merge and adjusts well when going onto highway ramps. If there are any drawbacks to note, one could point out that it does not have some of the main features that newer vehicles have today, but it still is a solid performer and a good car. If you are looking for something to get you from point A to point B, this car does the job. One thing you can count on is a lower insurance rate for driving an older vehicle, and less risk of theft or vandalism compared to other vehicles that you could own. There is a spoiler on the back trunk and the driver's seat is very comfortable... (more)
Story
I cannot think of any one memorable story but this car has been my daily driver for a number of years now.
Pros
I feel like it handles and rides well overall and has good gas mileage. It comes with airbags, power locks, power windows and a nice radio.
Cons
It does not have steering wheel controls or gaps, it does not have leather seats or TPMS like newer vehicles do.

There are not much durable US cars, but the Pontiac Grand Prix is one of them. In 12 years, I had minimum wear and tear repairs to do on it, and the interior is still very much acceptable. I like a car to drive, not so much to feel like I am in some kind of cybercafé.
Story
Broke the belt during winter while trying to get out of snow pile. Got a new belt. Fixed in ten minutes.
Pros
Great engine, great power. Gas mileage is very acceptable for this category of car.
Cons
Sound system wears off fast. Need to consistently watch for under body corrosion signs.
