Gets great gas mileage and is comfortable to drive and ride in
I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. It has been one of the best cars I have ever owned. I get fantastic gas mileage and it has held up very well over the yrs. It has minimal rust on the body and I haven't had to have any major work done to it since I bought it in 2006. Engine has over 120,000 miles and still does not burn any oil and runs great. The only down side is that the backseat is not the most comfortable to ride in for any length of time.

Some cars try to do it all.
Buying a used car, you never can be certain what you're going to get. Sure, they have maintenance logs and a great driving record, but things beyond that come into play. I purchase this Pontiac from my banker, of all people. The only other car I had owned was a 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis, so I wanted something with an updated "feel" so to speak. Well, I certainly found it. With its windshield projected display, driver information panel, sun roof and heated leather seats, I was certain I had finally found what I was looking for. Seating for five and an enormous trunk in this sedan leave you plenty of room for anybody and any thing you could ever wish to take with you. Possibly the greatest test of this car was my spontaneous 1700 mile trip across several states and though mountains for an audition. It had no trouble at all keeping up with traffic on the interstates, nor with maintaining speed through the mountains. A true testament to the reliability of a Grand Prix, considering it had 127,000 miles logged already when I purchased it. And that spacious trunk I mentioned? The back seats conveniently fold down to make a perfect sleeping area nearly the size of a twin bed! That sure saved me a lot on hotel expenses.

Versatility
I purchased this vehicle through a friend of my family who owns a small car lot. He found the vehicle at a local automobile auction for a good price. I think that if I remember right, I paid just under $10,000 for the car with less than 20,000 miles on it. The car is black and very sporty looking. The interior is roomy, and the V6 engine has plenty of power. The engine is the bigger of the two engines which are offered. I've been doing quite a bit of home remodeling. I use the car to transport materials. By flipping down the back seats, I'm able to transport quite a bit of supply material. The quality is good. Everything seems to fit together well and seems durable enough. The quality of the interior is nice.
