My Saturn is over ten years old and still going strong. With 185k miles, it is still running strong with only regular wear and tear repairs completed so far. The leather interior is still in great shape with regular cleaning and conditioning. The style is still very modern, and it doesn't show its age. The V6 engine makes it very powerful, and the AWD made handling in snow and ice no problem with all-season tires. The factory upgraded stereo still sounds great with no repairs necessary. The car is very comfortable and has made many trips across the country. The back seats fold down flat which also makes it a fun car to camp in if you don't sleep in tents. Also, a queen-size air mattress fits perfectly in the back!
Story
I drove this car in a very rare ice storm while living in Florida, and I was one of the only drivers on the road. I had fortunately just put new tires on so was confident driving in the first ice storm in the area in 30 years.
Pros
I love how dependable this car has been over the past ten years! I've kept up with maintenance and haven't had to spend a lot of money on repairs. The car was in one accident, and the frame held up well and protected me from being badly injured. Maintenance is simple, and it's an easy car to work on for the mechanic.
Cons
The only issue I've had in ten years is that some of the seals have begun to dry out now that I live in a dry climate. The sunroof occasionally leaks when I go through automatic car washes. With the V6, the fuel economy isn't great. The car has an internal rear differential that has to be serviced at a dealer location.

My van is not 8 years old. I have only had to replace a few things on the vehicle in that time. The alternator, fan, and a water pump. The van has ran great and gets me where I need to go without fail. Having the van has allowed me to haul things like a truck or people if needed. If I have people I keep the seats in the van however if I need to room for a large box or small piece of furniture like a coffee table, all I have to do is take a few seats out and I am golden. There are 4 removable seats in the van. Taking out all four gives me a space of about 6 feet by 5 feet. I also have a roof rack on top so I can move mattresses or whatever else I need to tie down to the top. The van gives my comfort on long trips as well. I have taken it on vacations and on those long road trips I do no... (more)
Story
The dvd player in the van was a great addition to allow my children to watch their movies on the go and when on road trips for vacation.
Pros
Removable seats, descent gas mileage, and very little repair issues.
Cons
Not a sports car.
