Great car for small families
The Prius V is a great car for small families. It has plenty of space to fit two rear facing car seats while still having trunk room for a stroller. Gas mileage is great at over 40mpg. The car drives smooth, and the seats are comfortable for long road trips. The interior fabric is plush while still being durable, and cleans up easily.

A gas-saving family vehicle
The Prius V was a perfect option between a gas-saving economical vehicle and a larger family vehicle. One of the best things about the Prius V is the room. We already own a regular Prius, and while it is a good vehicle, one of our complaints is it's just not enough room. In our search, we discovered the Prius V to be a great alternative. We loved the spaciousness, particularly in the back seats. Unlike most backrows, the Prius V backrow seats are able to lean back, making for a comfortable ride not just for front passengers, but back passengers as well. The car gets great gas mileage (averaging about 40-43 mpg driving primarily city streets). When I started driving the car, I found it feeling sluggish. Prius's can be eerily quiet and definitely don't accelerate well. However, in driving more, I've grown more accustomed to its speed and acceleration. It's definitely not a fast nor necessarily fun car to drive, but it gets the job done. And for a vehicle we intend primarily on using for family, it's fine. Just don't plan on racing anybody. One other annoying feature of the car is when it's put in reverse. The beeping is quite obnoxious, and doesn't seem necessary.
