I adore my Prius V. It is roomy, is a smooth ride, and handles really well. I previously had the Prius C, which is the economy, small version, and I can confidently say the Prius V is much roomier, but the extra weight does knock the MPG down a little. I thought about just getting the regular Prius, but the V's extra room sold me on the purchase. I am not an SUV driver, so this care will be the closest I get to driving one. The seats are comfy, and the backseats also recline and can slide forward or backwards as well, which is great for passengers as well! The car is still pretty new, so I've not had any issues out of it to note. The MPG is what you'd expect from a hybrid vehicle. I don't think I could go back to a car that is not a hybrid. The car does also have three "modes", one is ... (more)
Story
Our 1 year old loves riding and usually chatters while we ride around town doing mundane chores.
Pros
This car has plenty of space in the back hatch. It also has a trunk cover so you can maintain some degree of privacy of what you have in the back hatch. The car's MPG is great and filling up doesn't hurt your bank account too much. The backseat is very roomy and three people can sit comfortably.
Cons
The car does have a lot of bells and whistles. Particularly the radio system and the navigation. It is a bit much at first, and definitely not something you'd want to try to learn while driving. It has a touch screen, so trying to find a station while driving maybe isn't the safest, and the navigation system is useful, but perhaps not as accurate as using Google maps on your phone.

I like my Toyota Prius V very much. As with all Toyotas I've owned, it is reliable and dependable. No mechanical issues whatsoever. It is very quiet, sometimes so much so that I'm not sure if the car is on or off. I am very satisfied.
Story
I had a minivan that cost $60 to fill the tank. After buying my Prius, I filled up the tank. My first full tank of gas cost $14! I was shocked and delighted. It was so awesome.
Pros
You cannot beat the gas mileage and the cost savings. The price of the vehicle itself is also very reasonable. There is just as much storage room in the back as you would expect in an SUV.
Cons
I do not like the climate controls at all. They are spinning dials that also toggle. Very annoying. Also, only the drivers seat has power controls. The remaining seats move manually. I would have liked power for the front passenger seat.
