I have always been brand loyal to Audi, so when it was time to get rid of my 2002 A6, I decided to look at something that would be very versatile. I looked at comparable vehicles such as BMW X3's and Acura MDX's just to name a few because I thought I wanted a change of pace. I then came across a 35k mile Q5 that was at my local Audi dealer and decided to stop in and glance at it. I became hooked after the test drive! Felt smooth, comfortable and the interior is well designed. I have put nearly 20K miles on it in a little more than a year and a half and am glad I decided to stay loyal to the Audi brand.
Story
Skiing in Aspen, and trips to see long distance family members. It makes it manageable and fun for my wife and I.
Pros
Very versatile, functions like a bigger vehicle while maintaining the maneuverability of a compact car. Has great storage and roof rack capabilities. Easy for my wife to drive :). Equipped with a very well known and proven Audi drivetrain, the 2.0T. Plows through snow (take trips to Colorado every once in a while).
Cons
Have to replace all four tires because of all wheel drive. There's a button for everything, to start and stop the engine, why can't it be one but haha.

2016 Audi Q3 - I feel good to use my car. It was so nice and super pickup to drive.

The Audi Q3 is a premium subcompact crossover that serves as the smaller and less expensive sibling to the automaker's Q5. It's sold in two levels of trim: Premium and Premium Plus. With the Premium trim, you get standard features such as xenon headlights, roof rails, a panoramic sunroof, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leather upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity and a 10-speaker sound system. The Premium Plus trim adds a power lift gate, power-folding exterior mirrors, blind-spot monitoring, and keyless entry and ignition. Both trims are available with a Sport package that adds larger wheels and sport fronts seats, and you can also upgrade your Q3 with an Audi MMI Navigation Plus package that adds in navigation and a color driver information display. All Q3 models get their moti... (more)
Story
I bought my car with suspense. I showed the car to my mom on early morning in front of the house. She got angry about the person which is parking the car by my house. Then I said it is our car. She was happy.
Pros
Comfortable ride quality. Upscale cabin. Good looking.
Cons
Underpowered on the highway. Few standard features.

The power fold-in mirrors save the day when you are trying to squeeze the car into a small garage and you don't want to get out and go around to the passenger side to fold in the mirrors in bad weather. I live in the Northeast, so that happened a lot with my old car. Now, the problem is solved! You can get a cheaper car but not one with all the engineering of an Audi. I'm very happy with mine.
Story
I live in a very hilly area. My car handles the hills no problem. ]
Pros
Nimble handling with excellent close-quarters maneuverability; classy, high-quality cabin materials, decent fuel economy; peppy acceleration.
Cons
Rear seat is very cramped, cargo room is limited, ride is rather stiff, and some controls are complicated.
